    Admission process & fee structure of IIM,Bangalore?

    sir I want to know how much percentage need. to get in IIM college in Banglore and what is the process and fee structure? I am B.COM. student.

    Nice to know you are willing to be an IIM'an.

    The prestigious Indian Institute of Management,Bangalore has announced there Selection criteria for the year 2013-14.

    This year, the institute will give weightage to several parameters such as

    - CAT 2011 score,
    - performance in class X, XII and
    - relevant work experience.
    - Student's performance in Personal Interview rounds


    Selection Process


    >> There will be two rounds of admission.

    >> The first will shortlist candidates on the basis of their score in CAT 2011.

    >> Those who qualify this round will be called for Personal Interview round.

    >> In this round, the student will be asked to write a short note (one page long) on any topic given by the institute.

    >> The topics include current affairs, political or an economic issue, sports and business affairs, etc.

    >> The student will be asked to complete his essay in 30 minutes.

    >> In this stage a candidate's work experience would be evaluated.

    >> Once a candidate clears this round then he will be called for Personal Interview Round.

    Weightage given to 4 components


    1] CAT Score -20%
    2] 10th score - 15%
    3] 12th score -10%
    4] Graduation score -15%


    Weightage divided in PI round


    Content of the Note -7.5%
    Style of Content -7.5%
    Personal Interview -20%
    Relevant Work experience - Out of 5


    Cutoff for CAT-2012
    (In percentile)


    General - 90
    NC/OBC - 80
    SC/ST - 70
    DA - 60

    Fees

    13 to 15 lack as per new reports.

    hi friend

    percentile need for IIM Bangalore is follow

    General 90
    OBC 80
    SC-ST 70


    and IIM fees of Two year

    IIM Bangalore Rs 13 lakh

    Admission process :

    Step 1 :


    Do study of Entrance Exam CAT.
    It will take one year for preparation.

    Step 2 :

    Give CAT exam in oct-nov period

    Step 3 :

    If you get score in CAT above 90 percentile
    then you will get call.

    Step 4 :

    Now you have to Do practice for PI(personal interview) and GD(group discussion)
    go for PI and GD.
    If you select from that then you will get Admission for IIM college of Bangalore

    hello friend, indian institute of management bangalore is surely one of the best campuses of the country to pursue management education.. admission process of iim bangalore is quite competative....according to iim b admission office the candidates who have consistly performed well over the years i.e during their class 10 th 12th .besides exhibiting high apptitude as measured by cat ( common admisssion test).therefore iimb uses multiple parameters.namely high academic performance in class 10 class 12th and graduation score as well as candidates score in cat /gmat exam to judge the suitability of a candidate for pgp programme relevant work expeience if have is also given sufficient weightage.the fee structure of iimb for domestic student is 13 lakhs...so friend you should have at least 85% percent marks in your class 10 th 12th marks and first class graduation... cat score should be above 98 percentlile .....if possible gain some work experience..... all the best
