Well, you have mentioned quite a crucial thing. Yes it is a sad thing that being rich has become quite proportional to MBA degree for a number of institutes. So what, you have distance MBA institutes which offer MBA of equal validity and job prospects at a much lesser cost. But this does not mean that you get a direct admission in MBA in distance mode.Let me discuss an example to make my point.
IGNOU is the best MBA university in distance mode. To get admitted here you have to be a 50% graduation marks holder and also along with that you have to clear their own entrance test called IGNOU OPENMAT. The course is 4 semester long. If you sometime, are not able to clear any paper, you can continue it along with your next semester and given 2 papers simultaneously. So lots of time is saved there. The entire course fee is Rs.21000, which is very reasonable. Currently in there website enrollment for august OPENMAT exam is going on. So log onto www.ignou.ac.in. You can check your status by calling their study centers in these numbers-(033) 2281 0964 and (011)2953 2741.Good Luck.
