well, you are having good knowledge in IT field, so i can suggest you to go for MBA in IT which will help you to get higher positions in your career.as well as you can get good opportunities immediately completing your post graduation.

companies will give preference to the same back ground in their graduation also. so it is better to go for IT in MBA. With MBA,you can learn various leadership skills, management skills, problem solving skills, analytical skills etc...this will help you to directly enter in middle level and top level management. but through M.Sc you will enter in entry level position only.

so it is better to go for MBA in IT, You can find opportunities in various IT companies like Infosys,Tcs,Wipro,Mahindra Satyam etc....

hello friend, after completing B.SC you are eligible for both MBA and M.SC courses.
MBA is better than M.SC course.it is a 2years course.it is a good scope course.
educational qualification is graduation in any stream from any recognized university with 50% marks and for Sc/st graduates 45% is eligible.
There are many entrance exams for MBA admission like MAT,CAT,GMAT,XAT................no age limit for MBA entrance exams.prepare well
MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test and it conducts 4 times in every year and CAT conducts for Common Aptitude Test and it conducts once in a year.
you can also get a seat under management quota without entrance exam.
    Best stream in MBA:-
    MBA in marketing
    MBA in finance
    MBA in HR
    MBA in IT
    MBA in operations
    MBA in productions
    MBA in systems
    MBA in retail
    MBA in sales
    MBA in education
    MBA in consultancy
    MBA in corporate.all the best

According to me a person of b.sc IT backgroung should opt for m.sc IT.as it is related with the person's background so it would be beneficial for him to get the masters degree in the same field.

Both options are equally good. However, if you want to go in purely Tech Process then you may go for MSc IT, where you will be heading a job in Tech field like a software developer or leading a team or project. If you want to switch your field to Management then you should go for MBA IT.

The job prospectus is however, a little more in case of MBA IT then MSc IT. But, the starting salary in both cases remains the same. The salary range may start from anywhere between Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000.

The MBA IT cover the following areas of study :
    Computer Programming & IT
    Data Base Management System DBMS
    Parallel Architecture & Computing
    Electronics Commerce
    Management Information Systems
    Network operating System
    Open Elective
    Human Resource Management
    Total Quality Management
    Optimization Techniques
    Industrial Measurement

Talking about MBA course-MBA is Master degree course of 2 years in Indiaand 1 year in Abroad
Any candidate who have graduation degree with 3 years at least and with 50% marks are eligible for the appearing in the MBA course or MBA exams-

    MBA in Telecommunications
    MBA in Media
    MBA in Services
    MBA in Hospital Management
    MBA in Criminal Justice
    MBA in e-Business
    MBA in Education
    MBA in IT
These all are the MBA specialization in which you can do MBA course-

    Talking about MSc-
As MSc is also a master degree and it is also of 2 years and same eligibility is there if you have graduation then you can go for it as it requires graduation candidates-

And now talking about BSc course so BSc course is bachelor or we can say graduation degree course and it is of 3 years and if you want to do MBA or MSc then you have to do first BSc or other graduation course so i think you need to go with BSc and after that you can go for MBA course or alter you can go for MSc course......
So now i think your goal be clear just go for it...

    Hello

The answer is there in your question itself !!! So, what can I answer you ?? Haha - Doing MBA IT is better option for you than doing MSC in IT..

Really you have good academic background and also learning Computer related courses which really helps you to enhance your job chances !!

So, do MBA IT. It's totally depends on whether to do MBA IT in regular mode or correspondence. Because, if you are learning computer based courses which helps for your high salary packages then do MBA in correspondence mode !

And yeah Bhartiya vidyapeeth is a good institute do MBA IT So, don't worry and go for it..

    All the best

Re: What should I do between MBA IT and MSc IT after BSc IT?

hi ritika u go through this select of ur own
    1) MBA vs. MSc.
The simple answer is the difference between practice and theory i.e. MBA programs are based on case studies, learning from sharing experiences of the class members whereas an MSc is more text book and research orientated.

And therefore, not surprisinginly, MBA programs will require you to have some experience before you enroll whereas you could join an MSc program immediately following an undergrad degree. MBA programs can therefore also be general whereas your best bet with an MSc is to go for a focussed program be it in finance, marketing or any area of your interest. There is so much theory in each area of management science, you can't possibly have a good general MSc program.

MSc programs should also typically be slightly longer and require you to undertake detailed research/thesis during the course itself. The MBA on the other hand focuses on internships, to strengthen your practical experience in an area of your choice i.e. giving you an opportunity to apply your learning to the sector of your choice.

Finally, it has to fit with your long term career aspirations.

Re: What should I do between MBA IT and MSc IT after BSc IT?

    HI

AFTER B.Sc IT MBA IT IS A GOOD OPTION IF YOU WANT TO STUDY IN INDIA AND GET THE JOB ALSO IN INDIA. BECAUSE IN INDIA THERE IS LOT OF DEMAND FOR MBA GRADUATES.

BUT M.Sc WILL BE A GREAT OPTION FOR YOU IF YOU WANT TO STUDY IN USA OR UK. THERE IS A HUGE SCOPE OF M.Sc IT IN USA AND UK AND M.Sc STUDENTS HAVE A GREAT DEMAND THERE IN COMPANIES, R&D DEPARTMENTS AND UNIVERSITY TEACHING JOBS WHICH A VERY WELL PAID.

BUT IF ARE PLANNING TO WORK IN MANAGEMENT FIELD THEN MBA IT WILL BE GOOD FOR YOU BUT IF WANT TO DO RESEARCH IN FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES AND WANT TO JOIN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENTS OF MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES IN INDIA AND LARGELY IN USA OR UK THEN M.Sc IT WILL BE THE BEST OPTION FOR YOU.

JUST REMEMBER THAT NOWADAYS IT HAS BECOME A TREND THAT IF M.Sc IS COMPARED WITH MBA THEN PEOPLE TEND TO SAY MBA IS BETTER; BUT ITS NOT TRUE M.Sc HAS ITS OWN IMPORTANCE AND HAS GREAT SCOPE FOR INNOVATIVE PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN RESEARCH INSTITUTES AND R&D DEPARTMENTS OR PEOPLE WHO ASPIRE TO BECOME SCIENTISTS.
USA AND UK GIVE A GREAT IMPORTANCE TO M.Sc AND PhD STUDENTS.

    Dear Friend,

YOU CAN DO M.Sc.-IT AFTER B.Sc-IT.

As you told that you are become Computer background student you can do M.Sc.-IT because if we can compare between MBA in IT and M.Sc. in IT, M.Sc-IT is very good for you. MBA in IT does not have good scope in industry so you can join M.Sc.-IT.

    BEST OF LUCK.......
