hi..the score what you want to get depends on the university in which you want to get admission in ,but one thing about the management aptitude test ia that its an comparatively easy examination when compared to various other and getting an score of above 99 is not an tough task and in fact many student do get that score and hence even you should target that score ,the thing that really matters during the mate examination is the speed and the number of problems you are able to solve for that you need real practice and you should have solved number of problems only then you can get to that level so start practicing as early as possible

Re: What is the score needed to get in MAT ?

Hello,To qualify in the MAT entrance test only qualify marks or enough but to get admission in to business schools, it is based on the institute where you are offering.if you are applying in top business schools like Alliance business academy,GBS,Goa institute of management etc..then you have to get more than 90 percentile then only you will get call letter from that institutes.based on your percentile only you will get good business schools.

if you want to get good business schools then you must get more than 80 percentile, then only it is possible otherwise you will get admission in normal business schools,of course they are also good but compare too top institutes they are having less preference in their placements.

here you percentile only makes you to get good institutes.keep it in mind.try to get high percentile.

Re: What is the score needed to get in MAT ?

    Hi Friend,

You need to have 90 percentile or above to get shorlisted for good B-schools.Even you get 80-90%,you will be offered many programs by numerous B-schools.But if you want to make it for a good B-school then you should have above 90 percentile.Based on MAT score, they will shortlist the candidates for the further rounds like GD/PI.You need to do well at these stages to prove your expression and communication ability. They will check presentation skills at these rounds. So better prepare atleast for 10 days prior to the scheduled date for GD/PI.
