    hii friend!
    • MBA is completely two years professional course, where you can find various streams select according to you.and it is PG programme.
    • so after PG YOU CAN ALSO GO FOR PHD AND MPHIL COURSES.whereas PGDM ,it is completely diploma programme, you have choose the suitable courses in PGD like PG DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT,PG DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PG DIPLOMA IN FINANCE MANAGEMENT like that.
    • fee for MBA is around 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 but fee for PGDM is very less.
    • course duration for MBA is @YEARS
    • course duration for PGDM courses is one year to 6 months.
    • after MBA you no need to go for pgdm, you can easily get job opportunities with MBA qualification only.when you go for PGDM ,again you have to go for PG program since the opportunities are very less with PGDM.so better go for MBA gives you more career advantage.

Hi.the basic difference between mba and pgdm is that mba stands for master of business administration which is a master degree which is given by a recognized university.while pgdm stands for post graduate diploma in management which is a diploma it is generally given by recognized institutes.course content of both the programme are generally same.in india iims offers pgdm course till now but from 2013 onwards they will give mba degree

    dear friend.
pgdm and mba both are same course and are equivalent.
    1. pgdm- it is offered by those institutes which are autonomous, they are not affiliated to any university, they are just only approved by aicte and recognized by aicte.
institute will provide its own degree which is valuable in all parts and regions ( because it is approved by aicte and recognized by ugc)
    2. mba- it is offered by those institutes which are affiliated to any university, they will just teach you and all parts of the examination will be controlled by the university.
the syllabus of both these course are similar.
so basically there is no difference.
    all the best.
