    Dear Sir/Madam,

    iam studying mba, i wants to write net exam, but i donot know what is syllbus, how to prepare and so on,. please give me details and thank you

    Here's the pattern of National Eligibility Test:

    It will consist of 3 papers:
    1. Paper I:
    Syllabus: reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness
    Pattern: 60 MCQs will be asked out of which candidate needs to answer only 50.

    2.Paper II:
    Syllabus: Questions in this section will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
    pattern: 50 MCQs will be asked. Candidate needs to answer all of them. Each question carries 2 marks.

    3.Paper III:
    Syllabus: Questions in this section will also be based on the subjects selected by the candidate.
    pattern: 75 questions will be asked each carrying 2 marks.

    UGC NET Stands for University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test.

    Here in this article I am trying to Provide you complete Syllabus Details of NET Exams 2013.

    Every Year UGC conducts an Entrance Test for recruits the Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturer in Science and Arts subject.

    NET EXAM PATTERN

    UGC Exams is divided into three parts.
    There are total number of three papers conducted during this exam.

    PAPER 1

    The first paper is to be related with general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It is designed to check the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.

    There are 60 objective type questions, candidate need to solve only 50 questions out of those 60 questions dependent on candidate choice.

    PAPER 2

    Paper 2 is subjective type question paper. There are 50 compulsory question each carrying 2 marks.
    The Candidate will have to mark the responses of there questions of paper 1 and paper 2 on optical mark reader(OMR) sheet provided along with the test booklet.

    The detailed structure of filling up the OMR sheet will be send to the candidate with the admit card.


    PAPER 3

    This paper is only Descriptive type question paper.

    Candidate needs to apply the answers on the blank space provided to them in the answer sheet.

    hi dear........
    Eligibility for NET is PG with 50% marks or u must be in final year.

    there are three paper taken by UGC fr NET in one day.
    1. General Studies
    2. Covers all the compulsory subject which u have studied in MBA (objective).
    3. Earlier third paper was theoretical relates only to ur specialisation subject but from this year UGC have made it Objective and it cover all other subjects too and from this year they have removed -ive marking.

    NET stands for National aptitude test and it is a exam conducted by UPSC. The syllabus of NET is as follows :-

    1. The whole paper is divided in 3 parts where as the first part is of objective type where a candidate has to answer 50 answer from 60 multiple choice question. Question is asked from different sectors to test the ability of the candidate.

    2. Second and third section syllabus is based on the subject that a candidate has selected from the list of subjects. 2nd section has 50 question of 2 marks each where as third section has 75 question.

    i)

    The UGC-NET will be conducted in objective mode from June 2012 onwards. The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on the day of Examination in two separate sessions as under:

    Paper-II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
    Paper-III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks. All questions of Paper-II and Paper-III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options).
    The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet provided along with the Test Booklet.

    UGC NET stands for university grants commision national entrance test, which is conducted for ph.d's junior research fellowship or jobs in university.

    latest UGC NET test is on 23rd of december (tentative)

    SYLLABUS

    this consist of three sets of paper

    PAPER 1
    it consist of general questions based on divergent thinking, reasoning ability,general knowledge comprehension
    PAPER 2
    this mainly contain selected subject by individual, which is upto 50 objective questions, it is short answer type
    PAPER 3
    it contain long answer questions, means that require description.

    ELIGIBILITY

    must be a citizen of india
    age should be in range of 19-28 years old
    for CSIR candidates must posses M.sc. or equivalent degree with 55% marks
    most important a person must posses a master degree in field like humanities, social science, computer etc with 55% marks and final year students ma apply for it.

    Only such candidates who obtain the minimum required marks in each Paper separately, as mentioned above, will be considered for final preparation of result.
    Further, it may be noted that mere obtaining of minimum marks in Paper-I, II & III as mentioned above, will not entitle any candidate to be declared qualified for Eligibility for Lectureship only OR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship both.
    The aggregate percentage of Paper-I, II & III of all such candidates who obtain minimum required marks in each Paper separately, as mentioned above, will be taken into account while preparing the result.
    Based on the performance of all such candidates who obtain minimum required marks in each Paper separately, as mentioned above, and in all the three Papers taken together (i.e., aggregate percentage of Paper-I, II & III), UGC will determine cut-off points (separately for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship both OR for Eligibility for Lectureship only for each subject and category). Accordingly, UGC will prepare separately, two lists, i.e., a list of the candidates who will qualify for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship both, and the second list of the candidates who will be declared qualified for Eligibility for Lectureship only.
    The final qualifying criteria for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship both and Eligibility for Lectureship only shall be decided by UGC before declaration of result. It may be noted that the qualifying criteria decided by UGC will be final and binding.
    ii) For Persons with Disability (Visually Challenged candidates) thirty minutes’ extra time shall be provided separately for paper-I and Paper-II. For paper-III, forty five minutes’ extra time shall be provided. They will also be provided the services of a scribe who would be a graduate in a subject other than that of the candidate. Those Persons with Disability (Physically Challenged) candidates who are not in a position to write in their own hand-writing can also avail these services by making prior request (at least one week before the date of UGC-NET) in writing to the Co-ordinator of the NET Coordinating University. Extra time and facility of scribe would not be provided to other Persons with Disability (Physically Challenged) candidates.
    iii) Syllabus of Test: All questions of Paper-II and Paper-III will be compulsory, covering entire syllabus (including all electives, without options). Syllabi for all NET subjects can be downloaded from the UGC Website www.ugc.ac.in and are also available in the libraries of all Indian Universities. UGC will not send the syllabus to individual candidates.
    iv) In case of any discrepancy found in the English and Hindi versions, the questions in English version shall be taken as final.

    As far as NET exam is concerned,here is something about it.
    The National Eligibility Test (NET) is the national level entrance examination in India for PG candidates who wish to qualify for admission in Ph.D research and teaching jobs in India. For the humanities and art discipline it is administered by the UGC (refereed as "UGC NET") while for the science and engineering discipline it is jointly conducted by CSIR and University Grants Commission ("CSIR-UGC" NET).
