Which subjects should be chosen in graduation to do MBA in future?

    Sir,

I have done fairly bad in my 12 (PCM) examination. I have got 71 in English Core, 60 in Physis, 52 in Chemistry, 33 in Mathematics and 67 in Physical Education. My dream of become engineer is now shattered. Now I want to migrate from PCM to BA or B.Com. Please suggest If I want to do MBA then what subject should I opt for Graduation?

IF you want to do MBA than you have to first complete your Graduation.
    In Graduation you study B.COM

In B.COM you will have subjects which will help you in understanding few subjects while doing your MBA like Accoounts, Financial Management, economics etc

Also during these 3 years that you are doing your Graduation, i would suggest that you should start preparing for the MBA written tests as well.

Please note that to get admission in any TOP MBA colleges you ahve to to appear in MBA written tests like CAT, XAT, SNAP etc and you have to score more than 95 percentile marks in these written tests

Only after that you may be called for the second phase of the selection process that is GD and Personal interviews.

Minimum eligibilty to apply for the CAT and SNAP exams is Graduation Pass with minimum 50% marks

Minimum eligibilty to apply for the XAT exams is Graduation pass

For your preparations you can study the below sections for preparing for these exams

CAT exams questions are asked from below sections:Verbal Ability
    Logical Reasoning
    Quantitative Ability
    Data Interpretation

    SNAP Exams structure
General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability -40 Marks
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency-40 Marks
General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario- 40 marks
    Analytical & Logical Reasoning-60 Marks

Dear if you wants to complete MBA in future then you can choose any bachelor's degree course because all courses graduates can apply for MBA and may get admission in MBA but you must choose your interesting subject as you have shown the lack of knowledge in every single subject excluding English in your HSC so that you do not need to choose any one from them and that is why you may go for following subjects to choose in your degree

Agriculture Science and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science with Small part of PCMB

    Botany, Zoology and Biology

    Sociology, Political Science, History etc.

    Economics, Business Studies and Management

So that you may see that there are so many options for you and if you go for bachelor's degree then you must go for either BBA or BBM because both are the management streams and if you complete any one of them with more than 50% marks then you may easily get admission but you should also prepare for CAT or MAT entrance test so that you could get admission in any good reputed institute for MBA

    All the best

In order to be eligible to join MBA course, any graduation is acceptable.

so I suggest you to join graduation course as per your interest.

but one thing I can suggest you.

At the time of studying graduation itself, prepare for CAT exam.

It is the top most exam to join MBA course.

You can get admission into IIMs by cracking this exam.

    all the best.

MBA is a master degree course with two years duration. For being eligible in the MBA course it is must to have a bachelor degree course in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
There is not any kind of restriction in opting the bachelor degree stream. One is here completely free to opt any of the bachelor course according to their interest as well as their way of likeness towards that course.
There are many bachelor course available like BCA, BMS, BSC, B.com, BBA etc.Whatever you will take, If you score more then 50% marks in your aggregate then definitely you can do the MBA course.

As per my view if you will go for the BBA course,Then it will be quite more good decision then others.BBA is a bachelor degree course in business administrations. So If you will go for the BBA course so in future you will be feel at ease with MBA course. And you can easily study as well excel in the MBA course.

So dear aspirant go for the BBA course as your bachelor degree course.Try to score more then 50% marks or minimum 50% marks in your graduation aggregate to be eligible for the MBA course.

    !! Good Luck !!
