Should i join MBA with a year gap after B.Com.?

I graduated in B.Com (H) from St. Xavier's College Calcutta with 69.57% marks. But after that out of interest I joined a one year course in Music Performance in Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, Chennai.

I was not sure of what is to be done after that and I did not appear for any of the MBA entrances

Right now I have 2 options:

    To take up a Job.
To sit for a year and prepare for the MBA Entrances and Join MBA in 2014.

I am in a dilemma regarding what should be done. Will these two years be counted as loss?
Should I take up a Job and gain experience? or should I join MBA next year?

first of all as you said that you have cross 69.9 that means you are eligible for any type of entrance test.Because for writing any entrance first foremost you have to do is completion of graduation with an aggregate of 50% and for the sc/st it is 45% so you should first completed in that area so no problem with your aggregate.and now coming to your two options as you said whether to choose job or preparing for MBA and then write the exam.If i am in your place then i will choose first job and parallely i will take MBA coaching and then get thorough preparation for the exam and at last after completion of the preparation I will write the exam and get good grade then NO need of year wastage will be there and that too while selection of candidates since you have job experience they will extra importance to you and more over as you said that you knowledge so that skill will also be taken into consideration so you should be very careful in planning your time time table. If you plan in this planner then definitely you will achieve both the satisfaction of job and getting completed your education

    All the best.............
    hope the information helps you.........
