    Should I appear for CAT or GMAT to do MBA in HR?

    i am doing b.com hons from Delhi university and will graduate. i want to do human resource after that.i am confused whether i should give cat or GMAT. moreover i want to know if we need any other qualification other than a graduate degree for studying outside India.please help me.

    Hey hav u heard about online MBA program by St. Angelos education, the program has been accredited by UGC and you don't need to attend the college. Can check out the inform on their website. www.saintengelos.com

    many colleges now conditing own examinationfor MBA,it also take CAT ranking card.so its your choice in which procedure you go forward.Best of luck for your future.

    Dear if you want to get admission in MBA program then you may appear for any one of the CAT or GMAT test because both tests are able to provide you admission in MBA program but as you have mentioned that you wants to get admission in MBA program outside of India means abroad then you will have to appear for GMAT Test because GMAT stands for Graduate Management Aptitude Test that is conducted for those students who wants to get admission in various foreign countries for MBA program and mainly for USA, England etc. so you choose choose GMAT on the place of CAT - Common Admission Test

    If you are pursuing B.Com Honors from Delhi University then you should know that candidate should posses a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates and if you are pursuing final year of your degree or appearing for final year exams or awaited for announcement of final year result then also you may apply for this test but your result of final year examination should be declared before admission dates of colleges that are under GMAT test

    GMAT test is held worldwide in various locations and you may opt for any center of examination in the world but only under those which are available and provided by GMAT authorities

    GMAT test fee structure for the year 2013 :

    Scheduling a GMAT Appointment - 250 $/USD

    Rescheduling GMAT Appointment - 50 $/USD

    Additional Score Report - 28 $/USD for each

    USD/$ 10 may be charged for canceling by phone in addition to the fees above

    You may pay the fee by using various facilities provided by banking industries as

    Credit Card - Visa , Master Card , American Express or JCB

    Debit Card - Visa or Master Card Only

    Money Orders, Cashier's Check - Mailed Form Only or Personal Check - Mailed forms only

    Debit Cards from India are not accepted to pay the fee for GMAT Test

    You have the limit to appear only for five times in this test means not more than 5 times

    Examination Pattern for GMAT Test 2013 :

    Analytical Writing Assessment Section - A. Analyzing of an Issue - 1 topic 30 minutes. B. Analyze of an Argument - 1 topic and only for 30 minutes

    Quantitive Aptitude Section - A. Problem Solving B. Data Sufficiency - 37 questions in 75 minutes

    Verbal Section -A. Reading Comprehension B. Critical Reasoning C. Sentence Correction- 41 questions in 75 minutes

    Well it totally depends on where you wish to do MBA.
    If you wish to do MBA in India, the you can appear for the CAT exam.
    the CAT exam is a All India National level exam, and for tis exam you need to have completed graduation .
    you also need to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in graduation to be eligible.

    the GMAT exam is conducted for admission into foreign university for MBA.
    through this exam you can seek admission in MBA colleges situated in COuntries like- USA, Australia , Canada etc...

    Hi Friend ,

    yes , For doing MBA in HR either you cam appear for CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) or GMAT ( GRADUATE MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST ) these both exam are Entrance test for qualifying for taking admission in reputed Top Business MBA Schools . So choices is yours either you can go for CAT OR GMAT .

    NOTE :- GMAT is basically for taking admission in Abroad Colleges like countries like U.S.A , AUSTRALIA , CANADA , etc ...

    As you want to do MBA in a HR specialization but most matter from where you want to complete your study. If you wish to do MBA in India, the you can appear for the CAT exam.
