hi..the retail management is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country with great opportunities ,at present there retail segment is in the nascent stage in the country and there is an great politics and brainstorming going on in our country on the issue of introduction or foreign direct investment in the retails sector just for the shake of giving it an impetus for growth ,
if the foreign direct investment policy of the government is implemented in the retail sector then the major players all around the world will come to India because its one of the fastest growing economies in the world and every one wants to take an pie from this opportunity and if it happens then there will be great demand for the Indian professionals who are an master of business administration degree holder in the retail management because of the simple fact that even the foreign companies will hire the local talent with local knowledge .
there are plans of setting up of at least 200 retail supermarkets all over India in the nest three years and this number is quite modest and this shows the amount of opportunities the retail sector is having in the near future .
if the foreign retail companies comes to India its expected that they would be creating an 20,00,000 jobs in the retail segment and that shod that the demand for the retail managers will be just great and that's why doing this course will be an very good inadvertent for you .

as the growth opportunities in this field in the near future is just great i would advice you to do the retail management course from the best colleges in the country because that will give you an early start as compared o others and also if you do the course from the top colleges then you will be higher in the best of the companies and also you will be entering the higher management at an quite early age and hence you can grow faster than what you will achieve you do the course from some small and third grade business school
