    Is it right that "IGNOU is the best option for correspondence MBA course"? Procedure for MBA admission in IGNOU?

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I am BE-2010 Computer science graduate. Curently i am working in a private software company in Bangalore. I am planning to do MBA- Correspondence.
    I have multiple questions in my mind:-

    1. I have heard that IGNOU is best option for correspondance MBA course. Is it right ?

    2. Please advice me procedure for admission in IGNOU.

    3. Also please let me know other best option for MBA correspondence courses & procedure for applying in them.

    IGNOU is the worst option for anyone . I am a current student of ignou / u21 emba program and they have cheated not one but 3 whole batches of students , they stretched the 18 month program to 2+ yrs and are now refusing to grant degrees to anyone , they did not pay professors and fired the every last member of the team.
    So it is the worst option and U21 too also is a party to it , they take money and don't deliver. Be careful when putting money in there...

    hi friend.
    yes ignou is the best option for doing mba from distance education. it is one of the best distance education university of our country, so if you want to pursue your mba from distance education, then ignou is the right choice for you.
    eligibility criteria for mba from ignou:
    1. a minimum of 50% in 3 or 4 year bachelors degree from a recognised university in case of gen and obc candidates.
    2. a minimum of 45% in 3 or 4 year bachelors degree from a recognised university in case of sc and st candidates.
    3. final year student of bachelor's degree may also apply, but at the time of admission they must have to submit their final year certificates.
    4. if a candidate have passed his 10+2 and having a six year professional experience/ managerial excellence then he is also eligible for mba from ignou.
    4. there is no minimum or maximum age bar for pursuing mba from ignou.
    duration of the course:
    the minimum duration of mba from ignou is 2.6 years while the maximum duration of this course is 8 years.
    fee structure of mba from ignou:
    the fee structure of mba is Rs. 21000/ per year.
    how to get admission in mba from ignou:
    1. if you have given any state level test (mh-cet, upsee, tancet etc) or any of the national level entrance test (like cat mat xat etc) and scored a good marks then you can get admission in mba.
    2. if you dont have given any national or state level test then you have to appear in openmat examination which is conducted by ignou and securing a good marks in openmat then you will get your admission in mba.

    Yes it is right that IGNOU is one of the best University for doing MBA through distance course. You have to qualify in IGNOU OPENMAT exam for doing MBA. If you have more than 50% in graduation then you can apply. There is relaxation in age and marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Exam is conducting twice in a year.     MBA from IGNOU is a better option

    You can get the application forms along with the prospectus are available in IGNOU offices (regional centers & study centers) and on the official university website – www.ignou.ac.in
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MBA FROM IGNOU
    1. Graduate with any discipline with 50% marks for general Category and 45% for Reserved Category
    OR
    Bachelor’ Degree with 3 years of supervisory/ managerial/ professional experience
    OR
    Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/Cost and Works Accountancy/ Company Secretary ship etc.
    OR

    Professional Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/Law/Pharmacy
    OR
    A Master’s degree in any subject.
    2. Non-graduates (10+2 or equivalent) with six years of supervisory/managerial/ professional experience are eligible for taking admission in to Diploma in Management(DIM) only after clearing the Entrance Test.
    3. Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU;
    OR
    Clearance of Management Entrance Test with 40% marks, conducted by Institutions other than IGNOU (CAT/MAT/State Level Tests).
