Is it a right decision to leave engineering & go for BBA?

I am currently in 2nd year, doing E&Tc Engineering.
Due to extra backlogs, I am getting a year down. Which implies, it will take another three years for me to complete my engineering.
So now, I am considering to do 3 yr. BBA and leave engineering. Its hectic and difficult for me to continue with E&Tc engg nor I have much interest in doing it.
At the end I wish to do MBA.
So is it a good option to leave engg. and go for BBA now?
BBA MBA will not lower my chances of getting a good job as compared to BTECH MBA?

Please don't get demotivated because of your backlogs.Few things i would like to bring to your notice,

    1. are you interested in continuing engineering?
    2. do you have the confidence of clearing all papers?
If you answers are no...to these questions,

you can opt for BBA & MBA. You always have future in all carrier but be confident in what you do.Because after choosing BBA ,you should not have same kind of feeling you had in Engineering.....
    So make a better choice...

Dear if you have got backlogs more than enough during your these 2 years of graduation and thinking to leave engineering course and join BBA then I would say that you have selected right way to make your career but accepting your weakness is not good for you because when you was not enough confident about this course then why did you join it and now you are leaving that means you have destroyed two precious years of your academic life that may change your life and turn to destruction but there is a hope now and if you have planned for BBA then it is good for you because this is 3 year duration bachelor's degree course in management and most of the engineering students loves to go for MBA after completing engineering degree so you will get entire basic knowledge about management and administration in your bachelor's degree and then you should go for MBA because you will waste another 3 years for your current degree that is why do not waste your single second and go for BBA and get admission then start preparing hard for examination and also for entrance test for MBA as CAT or MAT or XAT or SNAP or ATMA etc. because if you will prepare for entrance from your bachelor's degree then you will be able to score more than 90% marks in entrance and that would be good for you because you may get a very good college for MBA that is why you should think about your future and do not destroy it by pursuing engineering further

    All the best
