    HELLO ,

    Well CAT stand for COMMON ADMISSION TEST . And it is held under institute called IIM , for enrolling themselves to the post graduate program in management. The minimum qualification that is required in order to appear for CAT EXAM is Graduation degree or three year study which is equivalent to Graduation in any discipline. The candidates needs to bring 50 % in Graduation from recognized college.

    CAT exam usually take place in the month of OCT-NOV. and publication of notice usually come out in the month of July.

    Dear Aspirant CAT stands for - Common Admission Test which is a entrance test and conducted by IIM - Indian Institute of Management and IIM is the top most highest ranked management institute in India which provides MBA or full time management program in various streams of MBA and if you want to apply for this exam then you should have following qualifications :

    A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and if you belongs to SC/ST category then you should have only 45% marks in your degree to apply for this exam

    If you qualify the CAT then you would be eligible to get admission in MBA for 2 years full time management program and so many candidates are there in India those who wants to go and make their career in management field appear for this exam but the IIM accept only more than 98% marks in CAT for admission in MBA and if you secure less then you would get the admission in any other college for MBA

    2. Mathematics

    • CAT refers to common admission test which is conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIM).
    • This test is an National level test which helps you to take admission in master of business administration (MBA).
    • For that you need to have completed the graduation in any stream which is must be from an recognised university.
    • In graduation, you need to have the minimum percentage of 50.
    • If you are from an Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) category then 45% is required.

    CAT Eligibility

    You must hold a Bachelorís Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [ 45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste ( SC ), Scheduled Tribe ( ST ) and Differently Abled ( DA ) or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

    It seems you are totally unaware of the exam of CAT. Do not worry let me tell you in deep that what is CAT and why it plays an important life in the career of any student.

    First of all let me tell you what CAT is :- CAT stands for common entrance test which is a entrance exam conducted once in a year for admission in the premiere Business school in India. Basically in simple language if a person wants to do MBA from a reputed institute in India then he or she must have to clear the exam of CAT. This is a exam conducted once in a year and good marks in this exam opens the gate of IIM's for you. Now Let me tell you about the IIM's. IIM's are the top MBA college in India and they offer salary start from 50000 per month to 15 months. The exam is of objective type of nature and consist questions from Maths, English, GK, Reasoning and Mental ability.

    Eligibility of CAT:-

    1. A candidate must be a graduate
    2. Graduation must be done from a recognized university
    3. 50% marks is essential in case of General or OBC candidate
    4. 45 % marks in case of SC/ST
    5. There is no subject barrier and even Science and Arts graduate candidate can also apply for the course.

    Hello Friend,

    You can apply for CAT exam after completing your Bachelor Degree.

    You must have secured 50% of marks in your degree course.

    If you are appearing in the final year of bachelor degree or awaiting for final year results can apply for this exam.

    The CAT exam will be held in the month of Nov-Dec every year. You can apply through online process.

    There is lot of competition for CAT exam so you must work hard to get seat in top colleges like IIM's,B Schools etc.

    CAT is Common Admission test.
    It is a online written test held on All india Basis by Indian Institute of Management
    This is just an Eligibilty test to apply for Admissions for 2 year MBA or PGDM to IIM and other Colleges who considers CAT scores to shortlist candidates for GD and Interview
    Each Year CAT exams are conducted by one of the IIM.

    Minimum Eligibilty to appear in the CAT exams is:
    Graduation Pass in any stream
    Minimum 50% marks needs to be scored by candidates who belongs to General and OBC category
    Minimum 45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category

    If you clear the CAT exams you can apply for the admission process for the two year MBA programme at TOP colleges in India.
    CAT is just an Eligibilty test.
    Just by giving the CAT exams you do not get any job.

    But YES after completing your MBA from institutes like IIM, you can get very good jobs

    CAT stands for "COMMON ADMISSION TEST" which is conducted every year only once and conducted by all IIM'S together as a prerequisite to various management
    programmes in IIM'S and NON IIM'S .It is mainly an online test which is used to judge the following things of a candidate-:

    1.VERBAL ABILITY
    2 REASONING.
    3.QUANTITATIVE SKILLS.
    4.ANALYTICAL AND LOGICAL REASONING.

    The minimum qualification for appearing in CAT is that a candidate must be a citizen of INDIA.He/She must be graduate with minimum of 50% in graduation.
