    Possibility to get admission in IIM for MBA with backlogs in B.Tech.?

    HELLO,i have 87% in 10th, 83% in 12th and 71% in b tech.i belongs to general categiry. i was failed in 16 subjects in my 4 years b tech.but i passed those all subjects in my 4 years b tech period. somebody told to me iim's accepts only the candidates who are without any backlogs . Is my b tech perfermence creates any problem to take admission in iims?

    There is nothing to worry seriously, since you have passed through your B.Tech , that's eligible. Next step to move forward is ,to prepare for your entrance exam for MBA.

    HI

    There is no hard and fast rule that IIM accept candidates without backlogs.
    but 16 backlogs is too much and gives a very bad impression to interviewer.
    And the fact that you cleared all 16 subjects in 4th year raises question on your college.

    However, if your graduation marks are above 50%, you are eligible for MBA entrance exam.
    Try to prepare a very good answer to justify about your 16 backlogs, if you can convince them, you have little chance.
