Re: Possibility to do part time MBA from IIM?

It depends from IIM to IIM.
Like IIM Lucknow, IIM Trichy and IIM Bangalore provides part time MBA
but I doubt if its available for fresher. You need to have prior experience to appear for it.
If you are fresher try to gain work ex. Or you can look for b. tier colleges.
Following is the part time schedule from IIM Lucknow.

one-year part-time Executives General Management Programme (EGMP) through virtual classroom for middle/senior level professionals from corporate sectors such as Banking, Insurance, IT, Marketing, HR, Operations, Consulting Government sector, Regulatory Bodies, practicing Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants and Company Secretaries. The objective is to prepare the professionals for advanced careers in management with an emphasis on the Indian and International business environment by integrating advanced management theory, soft skills and quantitative methods with real world business practices.
EGMP is a Management Development Programme and on successful completion of the programme, the participant will be awarded a Certificate of Executives General Management Programme through Virtual Classroom 2013-14.

    Learning Schedule Hours
11 days (8 days in the beginning and 3 days at the end)
of on-campus learning module with IIM Lucknow faculty
    55 hours
Learning through virtual platform every Thursdays (6:30 to 9:30 PM) and Sundays (10:30 AM to 1:30 PM)
    200 hours
    Total hours of classroom learning
    255 hours

    Hope it helps

    All the best
