Re: Percentage requirement in graduation for MBA and M.Com?

Both MBA and M.Com are year Post Graduation level courses which are being offered by many of the universities all over India. The minimum academic qualification with which a candidate can join this course is by completion of Graduation.

As per the percentage of marks, the minimum percentage of marks that are required for the candidate in Graduation in order to join both these courses is by 50% of marks in Graduation.

For some entrance exams, there is a relaxation in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC/ST category.

Some of the popular entrance exams to join MBA course are
    -CAT (Common Admission Test)
    -MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
    -GMAT
    -SNAP
    -XAT etc.

In order to give admission for M.Com course, each and every university conduct its own entrance exam. Depending upon the performance of the candidate in that entrance exam, he will be given admission in the respective colleges affiliated to that university.

So, if you have scored more than 50% of marks in your Graduation, then you are eligible to join any of these courses.

You did not mention the stream which you have gone through in your Graduation. I suggest you to make a better choice between MBA and M.Com in accordance with the stream that you have gone through in your Graduation.

As per job opportunities, the volume of job opportunities are huge for MBA candidates than M.Com candidates.

Have good preparation to the entrance exam and crack the same.

If you are interested to join MBA course, then try to get admission for this course in B-Schools so that there is a more scope for you to be placed in good job opportunities of reputed companies.

    Wish you all the best.
