If you want to get admission in IGNOU then you have to face OPENMAT entrance examination conducted by IGNOU. This entrance exam prospectus with form is available in study centers of IGNOU. You can buy it and apply for the exam. If you have already appeared in CAT/MAT/XAT or state level entrance exam then you need not to appear in OPENMAT but you should have to get good score in CAT.

There are two two types of admission in MBA, Academic year and calender year. The session of Academic year is July and the session of Calender Year is January. The July registration of IGNOU is crossed, You can fill the form for January session.

Eligibility:-
1.Graduate from any recognized university.
2.Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of Supervisory / Managerial / Professional experience
3.Min 50% marks in graduation for students in general categories and 45% for Reserved category.
4.Non graduates(10+2 ) equivalent with 6yrs of supervisory/managerial/professional experience are also eligible to take admission in Diploma in Management(DIM) only after clearing the entrance test.
5. Clearance of OPENMAT or if you have qualified successfully CAT,MAT or other state level tests need not to appear for OPENMAT.
6.There is no age limit.

OPENMAT XXXIII - 03-02-2013(sunday 10 A.M - 1 P.M)

Reasoning: 50 questions

To take IGNOU OPenmat Entrance test a candidate should have minimum 50% marks in their bachelor from any recognized university and college.

Next IGNOU OPENMAT Entrance test for MBA is on 19th Aug, 2012 and then 26th Aug, 2012 for some other programmes.

Last date to apply for IGNOU OPENMAT MBA entrance test is 13th July, 2012.

Cost of Prospectus & application form is Rs. 500/- by hand and By post is Rs 550/-.
