Is it necessary to sit for CAT exam for MBA course in India?

It is not necessary to give CAT exam for the MBA. But it is necessary if you want to get good college for the MBA.
If you want to get admission in good and reputed B school then it is necessary to give entrance exam for the MBA. And you have to score good marks in it.

And there are also many other exams for the MBA you can also apply for those entrance exams.
Here are some other entrance exams for the MBA.

    MAT
    XAT
    JMET
    JEMAT
    SNAP
    IGNOU
    TANCET
    IBSAT
    ATMA
    AMITY
    SMU
    AMU

And there are also many other institutes they conduct their own entrance exam for the MBA entrance.
And I think it is best to do MBA through entrance exam. After that you will get good and best college for the MBA. And in this competitive world it is best to do MBA through a reputed college because it is very difficult to get good job with good salary package. So it is best to do MBA through a reputed B school after that it will easy to get good job and you may also get good job through the campus placement.

And here is the syllabus for the MBA entrance.

    General aptitude
    Marketing and management knowledge
    Reasoning ability
    General English
    General knowledge and current affairs

You should do preparation for all these sections after that you will be bale to get good marks in entrance otherwise it will very difficult to get good marks.
And In this competitive world you have to defeat your competitors and you have to score more marks then others after that you will be able to get admission in good and reputed B school.

And there are also so many courses in MBA you can choose nay of the course and after that you can apply fro the job in many companies which are related to your field and in starting it will difficult to get good job with good salary because most of the companies required the experienced workers. So after getting work experience you can also apply for another good and reputed company where you will get good job with good salary package and as you will get work experience you will also get increment.

For the MBA entrance exam the candidate should have graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university and for the SC/ST candidate there is 5% relaxation. And there is no compulsion for the particular stream in graduation. Any graduated can apply for the MBA course.
So you have to prepare for all the sections if you want to get good college for the MBA.
