MBA is the best part time course after b.sc maths.but MCA is also good.

you can get higher salary after MBA if you do this course.

you can also do distance education for MBA.

Re: MCA/ MBA/ ICWA: Which one is best part time course after B.Sc Maths?

I think, since you want a part time course both MCA and MBA are good. MCA will be having subject like discreet maths, numerical analysis, finite automata which will be advantageous for you since you are from MAths stream. Again MBA will give you more business knowledge. Streams of MBA that you may choose MBA in Engineering/IT for technical knowledge. But I think for you MCA would be best.

I want to tell here that the best university that you can opt for both the streams is IGNOU. I am giving you the details to opt for MBA and MCA in IGNOU, kolkata/delhi or other branches. Choice is yours:

IGNOU MBA courses are a 2.5 years correspondence course. You have MBA programme in IGNOU 21 courses long. You may opt for 4 courses maximum in a sem. Rs. 700 is taken for each course. You can take project work after 2 semesters. MBA requires a minimum 50 %in graduation and a 45% is allowed for only reserved category.
Also you need a student handbook and prospectus which you will get from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 or from other Regional Centres of IGNOU. Either you need to send Rs.550 by a DD/IPO in favor of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or you pay Rs.500 in cash at the respective sale counters. It takes OPENMAT as the entrance test.

The dates for the OPENMAT exams are
Entrance Exam is by middle of August, 2012
Application forms can be purchased from beginning of March, 2012
Final Date of reception of complete application form is by last week of May,2012

    Its a 1.5 hrs test of 200 marks.It includes English Language,GeneralAwareness,Quantitative Aptitude,Reasoning.
    Check www.ignou.ac.in

    IGNOU MCA course
requires a graduation degree from any recognized university. No admission test are taken for this course.Course duration is 3-6 yrs, with no age bar. The fees for 1st sem Rs.8,100 and Rs. 8000/sem from next sem onwards. Please check www.ignou.ac.in for more details.

Re: MCA/ MBA/ ICWA: Which one is best part time course after B.Sc Maths?

    HI,

All above are the best programme its totally depends on you how good you are in you studies and in which you have more interest.

But you ask me forthe best suggestion from above programmes I would recommended you to JOIN MCA from IGNOU university Only if you really want to go with distance learning programme, it is the best of all in distance educatio mode system as MCA has great career opportunities, wide variety of Jobs, and also good earning source as well.

MBA is also good but in distance learning mode it doesn't have such a good career option like full time MBA programme in fact you have to struggle a lot for your first JOb but after getting sometimes experience you will have a string field in that also.

ICWAI:- If you are very good ion cost & accounting so no need to think about any other programme because it is a distance education programme and also has many great career opportunities.

    All the best!
