Re: MBA or MCA after B.Sc. Physics?

    Hello dear

I think you are very much interested in your higher studies .It is good to take decision from others. As you said that you have gained aggregate of 65% it is clear that you can write any type of competitive exam because for writing any type of competitive exam one should be having the following eligibility that maximum type of competitive exams have the require eligibility of 50% in their academic level as in their aggregate and they have to complete their graduation in any required stream which is recognized under the center or state level
As you said that you have completed your graduation with 65% and under B.Sc physics you are eligible for doing both the exams that is both MBA and MCA

firstly i would like to tell about the streams such as MBA and MCA and later on i will tell you which stream will be better for the higher studies for you

    MBA:
Master of business administration.Which is taken by the graduates who want to complete their course under this MBA category. For this the required eligibility is that the candidate should have done his graduation in any recognized university or college recognized under the state or center and they should get the aggregate of 50% and for the sc/st of the candidates those who are belonging to low caste should have to get 45% aggregate above .They have to write the entrance test such as CAT,MAT,XAT,CMAT,GMAT,ICET etc to get seat in top B Schools and for getting admission in IIM it is possible only by writing the CAT and there is less chances for the GMAT to get admission in IIM through it .WE will get good job prospects and the salaries will also be higher and we can go and do job both in india and abroad also to have better job prospects and for career growth. There are many more companies and institutions which offer this course to get benefited.

Various streams are there under this category such as finance, marketing, accounting, banking, oil and natural gas, hotel management, airline and aviation management, travel and tourism management, entrepreneurship ,leadership,e-commerce etc are there.Depending upon our interest we have to apply for the respective branch and basing upon the present scenario we have to take this job.Now a days there is great demand for this students who are taking this type of job and making others also enthusiasm. For the candidates who wants to do this course should be having these qualities such as communication skills, managerial skills, leadership skills, team work, social skills, administrative skills because this type of skills are necessary for nay type of candidate who wants to pursue any of the above listed course.

    MCA:
master of computer applications. It deals with the subjects such as computers I mean the core subjects which contain the topics such as C,C++,java, operation systems, oracle, database management ,unix, networking, web technologies etc that is regarding only upon the computer syllabus that is coding, networking, research on websites etc.The qualification for doing this course is also same that is graduation with 50% aggregate and there are many companies that offer this course such as TCS,infosys, wipro, oracle,Amazon, intel, syntel etc and which offer high salaries based upon the merit and based upon the experience.

    Advantages :
when coming to this area when compared to the present trend into consideration we have lot of job prospects for both of the courses but when comparing MBA is having higher job prospects .Both the courses are of equal importance but when compared to these both MBA is only high in the present trend.Since you said that you have done your B.Sc in physics stream it is suggested to go the area in which physics stream is there.Other wise basing upon your interest ,capability, amount, age factor and the aggregate who have occurred in your graduation it is required to choose the courses. But in my opinion if you are really interested in doing the MBA then try to go for the course as you are having better opportunities.

    Best of luck............
