DON'T CONFUSE... FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO DECIDE IN WHICH LINE YOU HAVE TO GO EITHER MANAGEMENT LINE OR TECHNICAL LINE.

If you want to go through Management Line then you have to do MBA. If you want to go through Management Line then you have to do MBA

IF ONLY YOU HAVE TO DO M.TECH. OR M.S. THEN YOU ONLY GO TO TECHNICAL LINE.

BUT, IF YOU WANT PROMOTION... YOU KNOW THAT AFTER TECHNICAL LINE MANAGEMENT LINE IS STARTED.

THEN YOU HAVE TO DO MBA. BUT IN THAT FIELD IN WHICH YOU ARE DOING GRADUATION .

CONSIDER If anyone do MCA WITH MBA in IT sector because it helps to them to go through technical line with management line.

SO, FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO THINK IN WHICH FIELD YOU WANT TO GO...ITS YOUR OWN INTEREST.

Re: MBA or M.Tech after B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering?

    Hello My Dear Friend,

In My opinion MBA Will be the best choice for you after completion of Mechanical Engineering Course.M.Tech and MBA both are Post Graduation Courses and Professional Courses. You can find opportunities in the both courses.

M.Tech is a Technical Course Where as MBA is a Management Course. You can find plenty Of Opportunities with MBA Course. But If You do MBA From Top Management Schools then only it is possible to get good opportunities with huge packages in the top ranked multi national companies.

Of Course Even with M.Tech also You can find number Of good opportunities but it may not be possible to get packages equal with a top Management Institute candidates. They will be having more chance to get good packages and They can be placed directly in Middle level Management and Top Level Management cadres. But With M.Tech You have to work in the Entry Level Positions Only. This is one of the major difference between M.Tech and MBA After Completing Engineering Course. But Your MBA Should be from Top Business Schools. Then only these all are possible.

If You want to do MBA Course from Business Schools then try to apply for MAT or CAT Entrance exams. You have to get more than 90 percentile in CAT or MAT Entrance exams then only it is possible to get admissions in Top Business Schools.

CAT is a Common Admission Test
MAT is a Management Aptitude Test
GMAT is a Graduate Management Admission test
IIFT Indian Institute Of Foreign Trade Entrance Exam
IRMA-Institute Of Rural Management and Anand
JBIMS-Jamnalal Bajaj Institute Of Management Sciences
    MDI-Management Development Institute Admission

Eligibility Criteria to apply for all the above Entrance exams:

You should be completed Graduation with 50% of marks from Recognized University And If You are belonging to SC and ST Candidates then 45% of marks are enough.

    Top Management Institutes in India:

    Hi

It is generally depends on your openions and Goals and Aims ...

    So you must decide yourself

But as far as i am Considered ... I would say you to go for M.Tech

Since after the successful completion of your B.Tech you may go for M.Tech

There are so many career opportunites for you ..

    ALL THE GOOD LUCK
