what is best for you depends on your field of interest.
if you want to get into the business side of things and you are interested in managerial jobs and have good leadership skills and a knack for administration then an MBA makes more sense. to do an MBA you will ahve to appear for the MBA entrance exams ( CAT, SNAP, XAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT). the preperation of these exams is extremely rigourous. also the MBA course in itself requires a lot of hard work and dedication. the final result is worth it as an MBA student from a good B-schools has the potential of earning 7-10 lakhs per annum. of course this depends on the calibre of the student as well.

now on the other hand if you want to stay in the engineering field and have a technical bent of mind you can do either of the following two things :
try to get placed through campus placement and start working.
or if you want to continue your education you can pursue an M.tech from a good college. colleges like IIT provide a lot of research facilities to M.tech students. to pursue M.tech you will have to give an exam called GATE. this exam tests your knowledge of engineering subjects. also you can start teaching if you are interested.

    all the best
