To get admission in Pune University under colleges, you have to appear MHA-MBA CET exam which is conducted every year by Maharashtra state government for admission to 2 year full time MBA course. In this MHA-MBA CET exams , all the MBA college in Maharashtra state as well as MBA colleges under Pune University are included. Even this there are some colleges in Pune university like Symbiosis, MIT who conducts their own CET exam for admission to full year MBA course. The details regarding these exams are as follows ;

CET Exams for admission in PUNE University :

1) MHA-MBA CET :-

Sale of Information broucher - 1st week of Feb.
Submission of Application form - 1st week of Feb.
Date of Examination - 1st week of March.
Final Merit List - Last week of June.

2) Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) :-

The symbiosis institute in pune conducts his own CET exam for admission to MBA course but even this some major B-schools who accepts marks of SNAP examination such as SCMHRD, SIBM, SIIB, SITM, etc.

The above exams are limited for Maharashtra state only but even this their are some exams which are conducted all over India and the marks are accepted most of the TOP MBA colleges in Pune as well as in India, such as ;

• CAT (Common Admission Test)
• MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
• GMAT (Graduation Management Aptitude Test)
• JMEt (Joint Management Entrance Test)
• AIMS Test for Management Admission (ATMA)

Hi Friend,

If you want to do MBA from Pune University than you need to give SNAP-Symbosis National Aptitude Test which is conducted in the month of December and forms are issued from the month of October.

With out SNAP entrance exam you would not be able to take admission in Pune university.

There is 1/4 negative mark for each wrong answer and Total question will be 150.

CET-Common Admission Test which is now replaced with CMAT-Common Management Aptitude Test also consider for getiing admission in pune.

Prepare well for entrance exam so that you score good percentile to get admission in best MBA colleges.

MBA CET generally happens in last week of February, applications for the same are accepted in January.

You can get admission in to colleges affiliated to Pune University by appearing for CAT, SNAP and MAH-CET exams.

Visit www.snaptest.org
Register for SNAP and make the payment of the requisite fee.

Step 2: Apply for SIBM Pune


After applying for SNAP, you need to apply separately for SIBM Pune by paying an application fee of Rs. 1000/-.
Visit www.sibm.edu. Register online for SIBM Pune using your SNAP ID & Password and make the necessary payment.
On completion of registration, you will receive a confirmatory mail. This indicates the confirmation of your registration
Registering for SIBM Pune separately is mandatory without which no candidate will be considered for short listing by SIBM Pune.

To get admission into any of the colleges affiliated to university of pune you have to take CMAT entrance exams conducted by the AICTE.

previously MAH-CET was the entrance exam but from this year onwards it is scraped.

so you need to take CMAT .

also you can take other tests like CAT conducted by the IIM's or XAT which is conducted by the XLRI group.

To get admission in colleges which are under Pune University you will have to qualify the MHA-MBA CET exam and if you will qualify this exam you will definitely get the admission in any college in MBA which are under Pune university and this exam is conducted by Maharashtra Government and it conducts every year and you must be graduate with at least 50% marks from a recognized university to apply for this exam and if you will score more in the CET test then you can get a very good college for MBA so prepare hard and try to score more.
