Lovely Professional University is the Private University of Punjab. It is fully recognized with UGC but it is not recognized with AICTE. The university says that as per AICTE rule there is no need of a private University for the recognition of AICTE. Also, it is fully recognized with DEC, Distance Educational council so you can do any course through it via distance learning if you want.

But you have to go for regular course if you are fresher. The regular course is conducted by university in its main campus only. As per rule of UGC the Private universities cannot give its recognition to any other colleges and the courses conducted in its main campus only.

You can go for any course of Graduation and Master degree through this university and you can go for MBA course also. If you want to go for the MBA course then you have to pass the MAT or GMAT examination and get the valid score and then you have to face the group discussions and interview test conducted by university and you can get admission in it.
