How to start preparation for entrance exams for MBA?

I have 22 months of experience in IT.I have resigned recently from the job.I want to pursue MBA.Did I do the right thing by quitting the job? Will this be considered a negative point for MBA Admission? Is it possible to get a job in another IT company?
Should I start studying now for CAT,MAT,SNAP and XAT or get another job and study along with the job?

Re: How to start preparation for entrance exams for MBA?

this depends on your capabilities. if you are disciplined and dedicated enough to continue both parallely then you may look for a job. on the other hand if you are sure that you want to do an MBA and want to dedicate all your time to its preperation then thats okay too.
whether your interviewers consider your leaving your job a negative or positive point that depends on how confidently and logically you answer their questions when asked about it.
now moving on to the preperation aspect.
to do well in the MBA entrance exams you need to do well in the following sections :
    1. quantitative aptitude
    2. data interpretation
    3. logical reasoning
    4. verbal ability

now you can join a coaching institute for the preparation of these exams. ample study material and guidance shall be provided to you.
also if you wish to study on your own you can either buy just the material from the market or find it online.
study in a disciplined and dedicated manner. it would be advisable to join a test series just before the exams as that would give you a clear idea about where you stand.

    all the best
