    Re: How much percentage is needed in B.com for doing MBA and CA?

    The percentage required to do MBA is 50 from recognized university and some deemed universities admit students who have lower percentage too.To get into good MBA schools higher percentage is required.

    CA programme is of two years apart from thetraining period and it comprises of three sections

    * Professional Education(PE-I)
    * Professional Education(PE-II)
    * Final examination

    Professional Education Course I:

    Anyone who has a 10 + 2 can join for the Professional Education Course I. Duration of the course is 10 months. A candidate isdeclared successful in Professional course I, if he/she secures an aggregate of50% of the total marks in all the papers subject to a minimum of 40% marks ineach paper.

    Professional EducationCourse-II & Final Course:

    The CA Programme is mainly dividedinto Professional Education Course II and Final course. After successfulcompletion of the professional Education course-I or the graduation the studentcan attend professional Education course-II and after completing that final course.

    And 50% is required to join in CA.

    Re: How much percentage is needed in B.com for doing MBA and CA?

    NO, 55% is not compulsory for pursuing MBA or either CA course in India. You have to get 50% in your Bachelors degree for doing.

    The eligibility criteria for for admission to MBA are -

    1)The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to MBA is at least a 3-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/ All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as eligible for Post-Graduate Studies in Management.

    2)The candidates applying must hold a bachelor's Degree with a minimum percentage of 50%( 45% in case of SC/ST/People with disabilities).

    3)Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor's course or equivalent or those awaiting results of their graduation exam may also apply.However you must provide a certificate from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar/Director of the university/institution certifying that the candidate is currently in the final year / is awaiting final results and has obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category).

    4)Students with pending Backlogs are not eligible and should not apply.

    Now 2nd part of your question i.e for CA course -

    The routes for admission to CA are -

    After 10+2 -

    A Candidate who has passed the 10th examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India can register for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) of the CA programme.

    But they can write the examination only after passing the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or waiting for the 10+2 exam results. There are no restrictions with regard to the age of the candidate or marks secured in Senior Secondary Examination.

    After Graduation -

    *Commerce graduates with 50% marks,
    *Non-commerce graduates with subjects other than Mathematics with an aggregate of 55% marks and non-commerce graduates with Maths with an aggregate of 60% marks are exempted from the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and are permitted to register for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC).

    My recommendation -

    *You can pursue MBA without 50% in B.Com but must have 50% marks in your graduation.

    *You can go for CA without 55% marks in B.Com .There are
    two ways-

    1) You have to complete your Post Graduation in Commerce with more than 55% marks and go directly for IPCC stage.

    2) You can also give the CA-CPT exam and then enter the IPCC stage. For CA-CPT , you just have to pass 10+2 level exam. ( No question of marks.)

    Good Luck

    ..............CA OR MBA !!................

    At present Market Situvation is very glimpse .so MBA peoples are high in the market .every

    year more than 2 lakhs peoples

    passed out ..so the jobs are very less ..everybody would not get the right job at right place

    .lot of delay happening .peoples are not satisfied ..

    Where as CA is far more better than MBA ..because the level of peoples passed out to next

    stage is very rare ..so that

    the opportuinites are also far more good ..also the jobs are more related to Finance oriented

    ..rather than roaming outside

    Your marks are good .so try your best ..

    No there is no compulsory for doing higher studies, But it is better for your career, growth and Knowledge.

    You can do both the courses as you have got 55% arks in your bachelor it is very good if you want to do CA you can easily get directly admission admission in IPCC as per the eligibility criteria.

    Because a candidate require to have minimum 55% marks to get admission in Directly to IPCC if he/she has less marks than 55% marks candidate need to take CPT Exam which is known as CA Entrance test.

    To get admission in MBA a candidate require to have minimum 50% marks in his bachelor and also require to take MBA entrance test like:-

    Both the courses are very good but if you are more interested in financial term you should go with CA.

    And if you want to go other than Financial term you should go with MBA because it has wide variety of MBA courses like:-

    MBA in Marketing

    MBA in Finance

    MBA in Sales & Advertisement

    MBA in Brand Management

    MBA in International Marketing

    MBA in IT

    MBA in HR

    and many more.
