    How do i get admission in USA for MBA?

    im a ca final student and a graduate with 60% from delhi university. i want to study in aboard so i decided to join mba course.. but dont know how to proceed so please tell me the eligibilty creteria for getting admission in mba

    USually most of the management institutes abroad look for candidates with 1-2 year of work exp alongwith a valid Tofel and GMAT score...once you have both you can apply for various colleges in The U.S.......the intake starts from sept-aug

    If you are keen to get admission in MBA in foreign University of US , then for this you would have to appear in the GMAT and TOFEL examinations.
    The GMAT is one of the costliest papers in the world !The fee to take the test is US $250 i.e 11250 INR
    The examinee may register for the GMAT either online or by calling one of the test centers. To schedule a test, an appointment must be made at one of the designated test centers.
    It is an international level examination and is carried out throughout the year ..
    If a candidate wishes to appear for GMAT from September to December then, it is required to register 3 months prior to their choice of date….. While in other cases it is enough to register 15 days prior to the examination date.
    The scheme and sections of GMAT paper are as follows :

    1)ANALYTICAL WRITING ASSESSMENT
    section of the test consists of two essays.Each essay must be written within 30 minutes and is scored on a scale of 0–6.The essay is scored by a human and by a computer program

    2)QUANTITATIVE SECTION
    The quantitative section consists of 37 multiple choice questions, which must be answered within 75 minutes. There are two types of questions: problem solving and data sufficiency. The quantitative section is scored from 0 to 60 points.
    a)Problem Solving
    Problem-solving questions present multiple-choice problems in arithmetic, basic algebra, and elementary geometry.
    b)Data Sufficiency
    Assertion reasoning type questions …The examinee is given a question with two associated statements that provide information that might be useful in answering the question.

    3)VERBAL SECTION
    The verbal section consists of 41 multiple choice questions, which must be answered within 75 minutes. There are three types of questions: sentence correction, critical reasoning, and reading comprehension. The verbal section is scored from 0 to 60 points.
    a)Sentence Correction
    Sentence Correction questions are designed to measure a test taker's proficiency in three areas: correct expression, effective expression, and proper diction.
    b)Critical Reasoning
    Critical thinking items present an argument that the test taker is asked to analyze. Questions may ask test takers to draw a conclusion, to identify assumptions, or to recognize strengths or weaknesses in the argument. It presents brief statements or arguments and asks to evaluate the form or content of the statement or argument.
    c)Reading Comprehension
    The GMAT uses reading passages of approximately 200 to 350 words, covering topics from social sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, and business. Each passage has three or more questions based on its content.

    The average score for nearly all of the top business schools, as commonly listed in popular magazines and ranking services, is in the upper 600s or low 700s. For example Harvard Business School's average is around 720 as per US News' Business School rankings.

    Yes,You can do MBA Course from USA.To get admissions in to MBA Course in USA,You have to qualify in GMAT Entrance Examination.GMAT is a Graduate Management Admission test to be conducted to get admission in to various business schools in the world.Almost all the top business schools are accepting GMAT score in the world.GMAT score is valid up to 5 years.You can get admission with valid GMAT score up to 5 years.But try to join within two years then only you will be given preference at the time of admission procedure.If you make late then you have very less chances to get admission.They will give more preference to the candidates those who have completed GMAT exam recently.So try to get good percentile in the GMAT Entrance test for getting admission in to good business schools in the USA.


    Eligibility Criteria to apply for GMAT Entrance exams:

    You should be completed Graduation with 55% of marks from Recognized University with any streams are eligible to apply for GMAT Examination.
