    cat full form is common admission test, it is a common test for mba exam minimum elgibilty is 10+2+3 you need to have minimum 50% in your aggregate for sc/st its 45%

    it is good carrer choice for higher studies who want to do in top mba universities

    Full form of CAT is Common Admission Test.

    This Test is conducted by any one of the Indian Institute of Management each year.
    This test is conducted to fill seats for the two year Post Graduate Programme in management.

    CAT exam is held to fill the seats in 13 IIM colleges located at Ahmedabad , Bangalore , Calcutta ,Indore , Kashipur , Kozhikode , Lucknow , Raipur , Ranchi , Rohtak , Shillong , Tiruchirappalli , Udaipur.

    CAT is the just an qualifying written test.

    If you clear this test with more than 95 percentile marks you may get a call from any one of the IIM for the next stage of the selection process that is Group discussion and Personal Interview

    CAT scores are used by many other MBA colleges as well.

    Eligibilty to sit in the CAT exams is Graduation pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks
    Next CAT exams will be held in October 2013

    • The full form of CAT is common admission test.
    • This is an National level test which is an entrance into the management programmes and it's conducted by the Indian institute of management (IIM).
    • You must have the bachelor degree in any stream and it should be from an recognised university.
    • Your's percentage of marks in the bachelor degree must be equal to 50% marks.
    • However if you are from an schedule caste (SC) or schedule tribe (ST) category or you are an physical handicapped student then the percentage of marks required is 45%.
    • There is no age bar stated for it and also no work experience is required.
