    Guide for MBA or PGDM

I have completed B.E IT from Mumbai university,
I havn't attended any Entrance for MBA or Masters,

Now, I want to do Correspondence or Part Time MBA,

Which will be better for me, Whether to go for GRE, TOEFL, CAT, CET and all preparation and take admission in next year or to take Admission in Private B-School or Autonomous University for Post Graduate Diploma in any Specialization from like Welingkar (Mumbai) or Symbiosis (Pune).

Is PGDM have any Demand in market or it is worthless???
Is this Diploma considered in industry or it is counted worthless??

Re: Guide for MBA or PGDM

MBA is a postgraduate degree offered by a University while PGDM is a postgraduate diploma offered by an Autonomous body like AICTE. PGDM is superior in terms of curriculum, it is practical based while MBA stresses on theory.

For further studies beyond postgraduation it is good to have a recognized degree like MBA. If you have given the college name may be we could explain whether it is superior than MBA or not, it depends on the college also even IIMs don't offer MBA degree same is true with XLRI's as well. They are autonomous and give diplomas which are superior than MBA atleast in India.
