B.Tech is the Technical Degree and you will have got the Technical job after it. If you want to go for the higher studies then you can do M.Tech which is higher educational skills for Technical field. After M.Tech you will go for the high level posts in the technical staff.
MBA is the management degree quite differ from B.Tech and after doing MBA you will get the Managerial field. In this area you have to give up your technical degree. I think you should go for M.Tech in which you will be in the technical field in your life. If you will go differ from path or you don't want to remain in the technical field then MBA is the option for you.

If you will do MBA then there is several streams which you can choose like finance, marketing, HR, IT etc. But I have to suggest you to choose the Operation Management area. Operation management is the area in which you will oversee, design, manage, organize the Process of Production in any company. Since you are B.Tech so you can easily understand the Product of the Company and can be manager of the process of Product is made.

    Hi friend,

If you are interests in managerial work then doing an MBA makes sense for you. MBA is a good qualification. But note that job market is becoming tougher and MBAs are finding it difficult to get a decent job. There are few colleges left where students get good placements. Also Fees for doing MBA are in lakhs of rupees. So think well before doing an MBA.

As you are still in B.Tech you can give it a try. Start preparing for CAT, CMAT, SNAP etc right now itself. Brand name matters a lot in MBA so try to get into reputed colleges like IIMs, JBIMS, SIBM, XLRI etc. do not go for non-reputed colleges at all. If you just want a degree you can do executive MBA after 2-3 years of work-ex.

    ALL THE BEST !!!!

    Dear friend,

All the best for your engineering exams.

The decision purely depends on your interest.
since you have completed your graduation in engineering , you have many options after completing.
But your interest decides which to choose.

It will be better if you go for M.tech or MS which will boost your career.
But you have mentioned here about your interest in MBA .

If you have such interest towards business or commerce field , you can directly enter into MBA without thinking anything.

MBA refers to Master of business Administration.
It is the professional course for two years.

After completing this course , you will be getting the knowledge of the business .
Then you can start a new business or you can work for companies like MNC's , Government sector , etc.

    All The best..
