    Hello dear

After failing in diploma also you have so many scope dear .First of all basing upon your interest and the budget you can keep and also basing upon the demand that the course you are going to choose it depends.Any course is important if you keep full effort in it until you have done your full grip on it.There are so many opportunities for the diploma completed candidates .As you said that you have done diploma in civil so take higher studies by doing B.Tech in civil and after completion of that course take M.Tech in the same stream to gain success.Or otherwise as you said if you are interested in hotel management then take that course as your wish and acheive benefits from it.But For that I think what ever you had done it in diploma in civil stream it will be wasted I think I mean 3 years course and the basic knowledge that you are having on that core will be wasted if you go for Hotel management .So before taking any decision once you think and then take extreme step because both time and money and moreover interest should be there as it is completely different course that you dont have any idea about it.

So basing upon your interest and demand on the course take the course.

After completion of diploma you can go for job by writing some tests regarding core or from regarding the general things,or you can go for the higher studies or do graduation in arts or commerce or economics or paintings, animations etc
