I want to pursue my higher education i.e Masters from abroad. I am pursuing Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science branch at Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat. After my graduation, I decided to go abroad to complete my M.S. can you give me the complete details regarding what is required over there ?? What are the exams that we need to qualify for pursuing our M.S. at abroad.

I heard that there are exams like GMAT or GRE that one should give to go for M.S. at abroad. I am in confusion that whether to give GMAT or GRE to pursue my course. Can you please give me complete details so that i can understand which way I should move ahead.

GMAT is Graduate Management Admission Test and GRE is Graduate Record Examinations . GMAT is for taking admission to MBA and GRE for MS .

To pursue MS in any university abroad(generally U.S.) , you should score well in GRE (More than 800) so that you can pursue in universities like Harvard, Yale, Massachusetts , etc which are considered to be the top most universities for MS .

You need to give TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) also which is the requirement to pursue MS for students other than U.S. with score 80 or more so that you will have wide options to choose from universities .

GRE is Graduate Record Examination. The exam is generally given by Engineering students for MS programs.
And GMAT exam is exclusively for admission in MBA universities. So you have to apply for it.
Although now a days, universities consider both GRE and GMAT scores , whatever candidate have applied.
TOEFL exam is english proficiency test, you can write it, but its not necessary.
