If you want to go for Lecturer post in Nagpur University which is in Maharashtra then you have to give the entrance test of either UGC NET or Maharashtra SET examination. Both the examination will give you the eligibility to go for Lecturer post in any college of Nagpur University.

UGC NET i.e. University Grants Commission conducts exam NET i.e. National Eligibility Test for Lecturer post in any University in India. The eligibility criteria for this exam is 55% of marks in Master Degree which is recognized with UGC and AIU. There is no age criteria for NET exam. But if you want to go for JRF exam i.e. Junior Research fellowship exam then there is age limit.

JRF i.e. Junior Research Fellowship is an exam after passing you are allowed to go for PhD degree from a good university as well as Lecturer post in any university. But the age limit is below than 28 years. If you are above than 28 years then you should fill NET form in which you cannot go for PhD but you can go for Lecturer post in any university in India. For more information go to www.ugcnetonline.in

Now SET i.e. State Eligibility Test which is conducted by Mahashtra govt. for Lecturer post in all State Universities in Maharashtra. Better you to fill this form because you want to go for Maharashtra state govt. Nagpur University. The eligibility criteria is same 55% and above marks in Master Degree.
