Re: Eligibility for SET/NET after MBA in Marketing?

    Dear

NET Eligibility is as follows :-

    1. Candidate must be an Indian citizen
    2. Candidate from any stream are eligible
    3. You must have a post graduate degree
4 Minimum percentage required is 55%
    5. Relaxation is available to reserved category
    6. Age limit is 28 years or less

It is good that you are a 1st class MBA graduate but you will not find marketing as a subject so its better you go for :-

OKAY now you must have known that marketing is not a subject then its obvious that a question will come to your mind that if not marketing then what to choose as it always good to stick to the subject.

So the answer is that you should choose :-

    Subject :- Management
    Code :- 17

You will find many similar topics that you have gone through already but still it is a tough call and hence you should study well.

    Hope it will help

    Cheers...!!!

Re: Eligibility for SET/NET after MBA in Marketing?

    Dear Friend

The acronym NET stands for the National Eligibility test.UGC conducts this examinations twice every year.

After MBA in marketing you are eligible for the NET examinations provided that you have secured at least 55 % marks in post graduation .

Your age must not be less than 21 year. The upper age limit is :

    For JRF: 28 years.

For Lectureship: No upper age limit.

SET stands for the State Eligibility test. This examination is conducted by the different state governments.

After MBA in marketing your are also eligible for the SET.

    Hope the information helps you.

    all the best
