    Dear Friend

NET stands for the National eligibility test. For NET exams the minimum requirement is post graduation in any stream from a recognised university with minimum of 55% of marks in master's degree.

So if your % of marks in master degree is 55 or more than it then you can give the exam.

For lectureship there is no upper age limit. For JRF upper age limit is 28 years.

For any other details please visit www.ugc.ac.in

    Hope the information helps you.

    all the best

Dear candidate if you want to apply for UGC NET Entrance test then you should have a master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks and 50% marks for SC/ST category candidates and you should also have at least 50% marks in your graduation then you would be eligible to apply for UGC NET Entrance test

If you want to apply for NET then you should choose Finance as a major subject in the NET entrance test then prepare hard for the exam because it is not so easy to get qualified and i have attached some question papers also to prepare for this exam please download

Paper I - General Teaching Aptitude - Objective type

Paper II - Specialization/Selected subject - Conventional type

Qualifying in both papers is necessary

    All the best

    • NET is an National eligibility test which is conducted by university grant commission every year.
    • This test is for the lectureship and for awarding Junior research fellowship (JRF).
    • For this you have completed the master /post graduate degree in any stream with having 55% but this must be from an recognised university.
    • If you are from an sc/st category or you are physically handicapped, then there is relaxation in percentage required i.e only 50% marks.
    • There is no age limit for lectureship in this exam.
    • But there is an upper age limit of 28 years for junior research fellowship.
