If you have completed your master's degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized university and you have secured at least 50% marks in your graduation then you can apply for UGC NET entrance test but there is a relaxation of 5% marks in both degrees for SC/ST category candidates and there is no age limit to apply for this exam

If you wants to make your career in lectureship then you can enter in this field without any problem because this is also a very good field which is more respected in India and if you score more marks in NET entrance test then you would definitely get selected at once in interview process. There would be two papers conducted in this test which are following as :

    1. Paper - I - Teaching Aptitude Test - Quantitive Aptitude/Reasoning Ability/General English etc.

    2. Paper II - Your specialization subject which you would choose for your entrance test as - Finance

Qualifying in each paper is necessary for every aspirant. I have attached some question papers and syllabus for this test please download and prepare for this exam

    All the best

NO, you cannot apply for the UGC-NET exams in the subject HRM.

Eligibilty to apply for the UGC-NET exams is:
    Post Graduation pass
Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation for the General and OBC candidates
Minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates

Candidates are advised to apply to the NET exams in the subjects in which he/she has done post graduation.
Since you have done MBA in Finance, you have to apply for the NET exams in the subject Management

Next UGC-NET exams would be held in June 2013
So, if you meet the above eligibilty, than you can apply
Forms would come out in March 2013
