    Hello Friend,

The minimum qualification required to pursue MBA is a graduate degree from recognized university with more than 50% marks in the same.
You should not have any backlogs in graduation and if you are in the final year then also you are eligible.

Re: Eligibility and minimum qualification required for MBA course?

Dear actually MBA is a post graduate program for which, candidates should posses a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a reputed institute or recognized university and must have scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate in graduation and if he/she belongs to SC or ST or PWD or ESM category then need to have only 45% marks to be eligible for this course

Entrance Examination is the main part of admission procedure where all aspirants will have to qualify entrance examination conducted by the university and some of the tests are there which are accepted in some or all universities as - CAT - Common Admission Test, MAT - Management Aptitude Test etc. so you can also appear for that test and qualify. Percentage marks of Entrance Examination and all previous academics - Graduation, 12th and 10th are most responsible for your final selection for admission in MBA program that is why you should try to score higher percentage marks in entrance test then you will have to face interview process so passing in that process is also mandatory to get admission and if you fails then you will be disqualified despite having higher or more score in exam and all classes

MBA is the only course which has earned a huge popularity among all field's students that is why being preferred by most of the students and the feature of MBA is that this is a professional and job oriented master's degree which motivates candidates to start own business too so you should understand the value of this course and keep continue

    All the best

Re: Eligibility and minimum qualification required for MBA course?

MBA is a master degree course with the duration of two years. The basic eligibility criteria for this course is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in the graduation degree aggregate.

CAT is the entrance examination for the admission in good and reputed MBA colleges.CAT is COMMON ADMISSION TEST for the management programs.Held on third Sunday of November each year.CAT is conducted by the (IIMs) INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENTS every year. This test will conduct 16 October to 11 November (Tentatively).

One has to score minimum 50% marks in their graduation aggregate to be eligible for the CAT .In case for the reserved category students it is 45% marks to be scored.

    Pattern of CAT:

    :-It Is multiple- choice based.

:- Comprises of three sections and these three sections span the domains of arithmetical problem solving, geometry, statistics, data interpretation, logical reasoning, puzzles, and English language skills.

    -:Quantitative Ability (QA):-

The questions are designed to stress more on reasoning skills of the candidates, rather than on their computational skills.

The level of difficulty of this section is perceived to be higher because the questions are not only lengthy to read but at times require more effort in terms of understanding and solving.

    -ata Interpretation (DI):-

As the name suggests, this section presents data to the candidate in forms such as caselets, pie diagrams, bar graphs, etc and questions are set to evaluate the
candidate's skills at analyzing the given information.

Data Sufficiency questions in this section are based on basic mathematics (at times Data Sufficiency is a part of the Quantitative Ability section).

    -:Reading Comprehension (RC):-

CAT usually has 6-8 passages in the RC section, with an overall length of 4500-5500 words and about 50 questions to answer in a span of about 30 minutes. However this too can vary according to the level of difficulty of questions.

    -:Verbal Ability (VA):-

This section explores your understanding of the English Language and also tests you on Reasoning Skills. The questions in this section typically comprise sentence correction, sentence sequencing, verbal reasoning etc

    !! Good Luck !!

    Regards,
    JSD

Re: Eligibility and minimum qualification required for MBA course?

The candidate must hold a Bachelorís Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA).The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelorís degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelorís degree. The eligibility criteria for this course entrance exams are generally at least 50% in any of the bachelors degree that is 10+2+3 scheme. As your score is less than it so you won't be eligible for giving the entrance exam. This test is conducted by state government of Maharashtra that is for all management colleges available in Maharashtra and if you want to get admission in MBA program under Maharashtra state then you will have to qualify this test then only you will be eligible to get admission in MBA program under that region. All the Best..!!1

    hi friend

    MBA in India

You need to have a bachelor's degree (3-year course) or equivalent in any discipline recognized by any Indian University / AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies.
You can apply while you are in your final year of graduation. If you do get through the admission test, you will be given provisional admission on the condition that you provide your mark sheet and a certificate of passing by a certain date.

    US & Europe

The basic qualifying exam for doing an MBA outside India (US, Europe, Australasia) is the GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) conducted in centers across India.
After you get your GMAT results, you need to apply for admission to specific institutes. There is normally no GD or Personal Interview process (like in India) - however, different institutes have different processes and criteria for admitting students.

    Hope this will help you........

    all the best
