A candidate should have passed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and if you belongs to SC/ST category then you need to have only 45% marks in the degree to apply for admission in MBA but if you wants to get admission in top ranked colleges then you need to qualify either CAT or MAT or XAT or SNAP Entrance test with more than 95% marks and you can get admission but there are some other things also responsible for admission as - percentage marks of your previous academic classes, interview process, group discussion, total working experience, and other skills and the cut off marks for entrance test is different for each category as if you belongs to general category then it would be about 98.5%, and OBCs - 95%, SCs - 75% marks and ST category candidates need to have only between 33-40% marks in the test and they can get admission in MBA in top ranked colleges so that prepare for the exam.
