Karnataka State Open University is a state university and so its degree is valuable in all over India. But now a days DEC i.e. Distance Educational Council blame that this university violeting the rules of UGC in Distance Education.

If you are in job then its B.Tech is valuable for you otherwise distance B.Tech is not so valuable. You should do regular B.Tech if you are fresher and not in job. But in job you can do B.Tech from this university.

KSOU is fully recognized with UGC and DEC but its few courses are approved with DEC not full. So, you can go for AMIE which is also a distance B.Tech but it is fully recognized with Central govt. and private companies also get this degree.

But if you say KSOU degree is valuable for admission in MBA then yes, its degree is valuable for admission for higher education. But the technical degree you should take from regular university. Best of luck.

    Hello Friend,

Nice Thought I must appreciate you for this but dear as you have written that you wanted to do B.tech from KSOU i.e Karnataka University(open). In this situation I suggest you to prefer some other institute because with this institute their is a conflict related.

This institute is violating the rules and regulations of Distance learning course of India Acts. So there is no legality related to it or must not be sure for future.

Hence I suggest you to prefer some other state OPEN university which would be helpful for you.

Now as you asked for eligibility for MBA after Under Graduation. Here are they :

    1. Aspirant must be Under Graduation Completed or is in Final Year of Under Graduation from UGC specified institutes.

    2. Must obtained 50% marks in Under Graduation.

    3. No age bar or limit is here.

So, dear here you have not yet entered to the institute(KSOU) for B.tech.

Hence I suggest you to Drop it or properly Check about it before entering to it.

AND ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR FUTURE

    YOUR FRIEND

Re: Eligibility for MBA after B.Tech. from KSOU?

    Dear Student...
Karnataka State Open University is just a state school and so its amount is valuable in throughout India. However now a times DEC i.e. Distance Academic Council responsibility this school violeting the principles of UGC in Distance Education.

If you should be in job then its B.Tech is valuable for you personally usually range B.Tech is not too valuable. You should do typical B.Tech if you should be fresher and maybe not in job. In job you certainly can do B.Tech using this university.

KSOU is completely acknowledged with UGC and DEC but its several courses are permitted with DEC maybe not full. So, you can choose AMIE which can be also a range B.Tech but it is completely acknowledged with Central govt. and personal organizations also fully grasp this degree.

But when you claim KSOU amount is valuable for entrance in MBA then sure, its amount is valuable for entrance for larger education. However the technical amount you must take from typical university.

Eligibiltiy for MBA following B.Tech not only from the KSOU(Karnataka state open university) but additionally for the other universities are:
    • to begin with you must complete your graduation with the absolute minimum blend of 50%
    • In virtually any acknowledged school of any water
    • there is rest for the sc/st candidates and yes it is 45%
    • we've to create entrance test such as for instance CAT,MAT,XAT,CMAT,an such like
    • Afetr publishing the entrance test in relation to the performance you will soon be called for the personal appointment and groupdiscussion
    • next marklist will soon be provided for your requirements
    • you have to choose schools centered on that
    • genarally the duration obviously will soon be in 2 or one year
    • we can also take incorporated course like 5 year for MBA(BBA+MBA)
    • we've to organize well to obtain chair in just about any school since it provides people several opportunities

    Hope this will help you
    All the best
