MAT and CAT are the interest tests which are conducted for the admission in good and reputed MBA colleges.

The basic eligibility criteria for both courses is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university. The aspirant who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for the CAT/MAT examinations.

The aspirant has to score minimum 50% marks in their graduation aggregate to be eligible for this examinations as well as for the MBA course.Only the reserved category students has to score minimum 45% marks in their graduation aggregate to be eligible for this examination.

Dear aspirant as you are telling that you have completed your graduation course with 40% marks. As you are not fulfilling the eligibility criteria of these examinations, so You can not do the MBA course as well as you can not appear in the CAT or MAT examinations.

    dear friend.
very sorry to say that after scoring less than 45%in graduation from any university under any category you are not eligible to pursue mba.
you cant appear in cat/xat snap/irma/fms. you are only eligible to appear in mat/cmat where there is no minimum % criterion.
in case you get admission any where you will face a lot of difficulties in placement, so my suggestion is that dont go for mba or think about any other post graduate course.
    all the best.
