    IF you want to become an IPS officer than you need top apply for the UPSC Civil services exams.

    UPSC has not asked for any minimum percentage of Mraks in class 10th, 12th, Graduation to apply for this exams

    Eligibilty to apply for the UPSC Civil Services exams is:
    Education:
    Bachelors Degree pass in any stream from a recognized university
    No minimum percentage of marks is required in Graduation

    Age-
    Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    OBC can apply till 33 years
    SC/ST can apply till 35 years

    Dear if you are willing to make your career as IPS Officer and wanna serve your country through police stream then first of all you should have following eligibility criteria to apply for this examination because this is a limited departmental examination that is not open for all Indian citizens that is why read it first

    >> Candidate must be the citizen of India

    >> Must have completed 05 years of service as Deputy Superintendent of Police in states under state police service

    or

    >> Assistant Commandants in Central Para Military Forces or

    >> Officers of the rank of Captain or Major or Equivalent in the Armed Forces

    >> Service record of the candidate should be unblemished

    Age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 35 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines that is 1 year for OBC and 2 years in case of SC/ST

    >> In educational qualification, you should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
