If your University is fully recognized with UGC i.e. University Grants Commission and AIU and your Distance learning is approved with DEC then you are fully eligible for the entrance exam for Full Time MBA. You should apply for CAT/MAT/XAT or other university level examination for taking admission in MBA in good regular universities.

If you are fresher then you have to go for Regular MBA and it is your good dicision for going with Regular MBA. You should go for CAT/MAT application form through online and then you have to prepare for it. And if you will get good percentile then you can apply for more good colleges for MBA.

The eligibility criteria for CAT etc. examination is Graduation with 50% and above marks with a recongized university. If your Graduation marks is below than 50% then you can go for MAT exam. But you have to get good percentile in entrance test.

After completing entrace test you have to apply for the colleges and then you will be called for Group Discussions and Interview test conducted by Colleges. And if you will pass in all these exams then you will go for MBA. Best of luck.

Re: Eligibility to do full time MBA course after doing B.A. through correspondence?

MBA is a master's degree course which is also consider as professional master's degree and there is no problem in getting admission in MBA if you have completed your bachelor's degree through correspondence mode because most of the institutes does not see this and focus on entrance test and it's percentage marks secured by the candidates and as you have mentioned that you wants to get admission in any branch of MBA then I would like to suggest you first that you should prepare for entrance test and qualify that test with more than 80% marks because generally this percentage is enough to get admission in MBA but if you think that you need to complete your MBA from a reputed institute then you should try to score more than 90% marks in entrance and below I have listed some entrance tests from which you may choose anyone and start your preparation

CAT - Common Admission Test which is conducted by Indian Institute of Management

MAT - Management Aptitude Test which is conducted by All India Management Association

XAT - Xavier Admission Test which is conducted by Xavier Labor Research Institute

SNAP - Symbiosis National Aptitude test which is conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Management

IBSAT - ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test conducted by ICFAI University

ATMA - AIMS Test for Management Admission

Now you have to choose best one and start your preparation and I would like to suggest you to choose CAT or MAT entrance test but I would not force you because if any institute in your area accept score card of any other entrance test then you may also prepare for that test but you should choose that one which is easy for you in preparation and try to get good command over every single subject of that test and qualify the test

To apply for entrance test, you must have at least 50% marks in your bachelor's degree and 45% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates but some of the institutes allows candidates on the basis of graduation percentage and percentage may be 40% also so that you should not worry and prepare well for exam and you may choose any one of the following best stream for your career

    MBA in Brand Management
    MBA in Economics
    MBA in Human Resource Management
MBA in Hotel and Catering Management
    MBA in Hospital Administration
    MBA in Health Care Management
    MBA in International Business Management
MBA in Insurance and Risk Management
    MBA in Material Management
    MBA in Sales and Marketing
    MBA in Banking and Finance
    MBA in Retail Management
    MBA in Real Estate
    MBA in Personal Management
    MBA in Rural Management
    MBA in Tourism Management

Below I have uploaded some previous years question papers for various entrance test please download and get more knowledge about examination

    All the best
