Dear friend ,as such there is no criteria as far as your engg marks are concerned , but then you will have to do exceptionally well
    in the written exams.

AS far as CET goes , your marks wont be an issue, just make sure you score high on your GD PI.

    Good luck

criteria is that you should appear for CET is you want to appear for Full Time 2 years course for MBA

If you want to appear for MBA than you have to score well in CEt and also fetch well for GD PI . as your admission totally depends upon the same.

Re: Eligibility criteria for MBA course? Is it compulsory to write CET to get admissions to MBA course?

    Hello friend

If you belong to general category then you must have atleast 50% marks in graudation but if you belong to other categories then you can have 45% marks .

The colleges dont ask for the percentage requirements in the academics but it is the entrance tests who ask for such minimum marks.

So most of the entrance tests ask this much percentages in graudation.

The candidates interested to take these tests must have scored such marks.

The actual criteria is as follows:
    • Graduate in any stream from recognized university with atleast 50%marks(45% for reserved category)
    • final year students of any stream of graduation are also eligible
    • post graduate degree holder with atleast 50% marks either in graduation or post graduation(45% for reserved category)
Even in CMAT test which is a National Level Test for MBA ,the eligibility criteria is same as 50% for general and 45% for reserved category candidates.

Hence, you have no option to join MBA with this percentage. But you can go for the following .

Try to improve your marks by filling improvement exams or
Try to re-appear for some subjects so as to increase your percentage by 2 % .
Try to search for the colleges which dont accept entrance exam scores,as not the colleges have minimum percentage criteria but entrance tests do ask for it.
Try to get admission through management quota where colleges dont even ask for extra capitation fees.

    Thanks

    hi,
    dear friend,
it is not compulsory that you have to give CET for MBA but the good colleges for MBA have their own MBA exam , so if you want to do only MBA and after that you want to set up your own business then from that point of view it is all right but if you want to get a good job after MBA then you have to clear the entrance exams like CAT,MAT,XAT,SNAP etc...

the eligibility criteria for mba is given as follows:-

-candidate must have graduation degree in any discipline (means any course Bsc , BCOM,BBA,BCA,BCOM )
-candidate must have age in between 22-30years...

    all the best...............

Re: Eligibility criteria for MBA course? Is it compulsory to write CET to get admissions to MBA course?

    Hi, ELIGIBILITY FOR DOING MBA:
The very first requirement to take admission for 2 years full time MBA is that you need to have completed your Graduation with a minimum of 50%, if you belong to General category and 45% if you belong to reserved category.
Once you meet the above criteria you will then have to appear for MBA entrance exams, Personal interview and Group discussion. Based on your final score (Percentile) you may then apply for admission to various MBA colleges accordingly.
Note: You may also apply for MBA entrance exam in case you have only appeared for your final years exam, however need to submit the scorecard later.
But like you said you have scored only 47% then you could apply for entrance exams only if you belong to any RESERVED CATEGORY.
And NO, it is not compulsory to give CET fot MBA, but you cannot get admission in those MBA colleges wherein CET is majorly accepted as main MBA entrance exam. You may still give other entrance exams and get admission in MBA colleges.
Some of the commonly undertaken exams are:CAT for IIM’sCMAT more specifically for MBA colleges in Maharashtra.XAT for Xavier's collegeSNAP for Symbiosis institute PuneNMAT for Narsee Monjee Mumbai
I have just mentioned few MBA Entrance exams apart from CAT, you must first decide your possible choices of college and prepare accordingly.
NOTE: MOST OF THE REPUTED COLLEGES MAJORLY GRANT ADMISSION TO MBA ON CET SCORE.

    Regards

    Dear pal,
    • One needs certain requirement to apply for MBA without which they are not eligible to apply for it. The basic academic requirement is bachelor degree from any discipline which may be a three or four year course. But it need to be minimum of three years duration.
    • The percentage required in the bachelor degree is 50. And one can also do the exam in the final year of the degree course.
    • Common Entrance Test is conducted by the every state government to admit the aspirant to the colleges under them including government colleges and private institutions.
    • If you do not wish to write common entrance exam you need to write Common Aptitude Exam which is called as CAT. Which is recognised by all the institution and they have certain seats reserved. But if you choose CAT then you need to do group discussion and personnel interview . So many prefer the other exam.

Eligibility to apply for MBA Entrance exams

A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks

You must have passed any of the following entrance test to get admission in MBA program

    CAT/MET/CET/JMET/CMET/SNAP/XAT/Etc.

If you will not pass any of these entrance exam then you will not get admission in MBA program in any good university so it is most compulsory to apply for entrance exam and to crack it with good percentage and if you prepare for CAT exam then it will be better than every entrance exam and if you score about 95% marks in CAT then you will definitely get a very good university for your choice course.

    All the best

Re: Eligibility criteria for MBA course? Is it compulsory to write CET to get admissions to MBA course?

If you belong to general class then you need to have atleast five hundredth marks in graudation however if you belong to different classes then you'll have forty fifth marks .

the universities dont kindle the proportion necessities within the lecturers however it's the doorway tests WHO kindle such minimum marks.
therefore most of the doorway tests raise this a lot of percentages in graduation.
The candidates interested to require these tests should have scored such marks.
the particular criteria is as follows:
Graduate in any stream from recognized university with atleast 50%marks(45% for reserved category)
final year students of any stream of graduation are eligible
post graduate degree holder with atleast five hundredth marks either in graduation or post graduation(45% for reserved category)
Even in CMAT check that could be a National Level check for Master in Business Administration ,the eligibility criteria is same as five hundredth for general and forty fifth for reserved class candidates.

Hence, you have no choice to be a part of Master in Business Administration with this share. But you'll choose the subsequent .
try and improve your marks by filling improvement exams or
    try and re-appear {for thereforeme|for a few} subjects so on increase your share by 2 Chronicles .
try and seek for the universities that dont settle for test scores,as not the universities have minimum share criteria however entrance tests do kindle it.
try and get admission through management quota wherever faculties dont even kindle additional revenue enhancement fees.
The terribly initial demand to require admission for two years full time Master in Business Administration is that you simply got to have completed your Graduation with a minimum of fifty, if you belong to General class and forty fifth if you belong to reserved class.
Once you meet the higher than criteria you may then got to seem for Master in Business Administration entrance exams, Personal interview and discussion. supported your final score (Percentile) you will then apply for admission to varied Master in Business Administration faculties consequently.
Note: you will additionally apply for Master in Business Administration test|entrance examination|examination|exam|test} just in case you have got solely appeared for your final years exam, but got to submit the book later.
however such as you same you have got scored solely forty seventh then you may apply for entrance exams providing you belong to any RESERVED class.
And NO, it's not required to offer CET fot Master in Business Administration, however you can not get admission in those Master in Business Administration faculties whereby CET is majorly accepted as main Master in Business Administration test. you will still offer different entrance exams and obtain admission in Master in Business Administration faculties.

Re: Eligibility criteria for MBA course? Is it compulsory to write CET to get admissions to MBA course?

    Dear..

Required qualification for MBA is as follows :-

    1. A graduate degree.
    2. Degree must be from a recognized university
    3. 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST.
    4. 50% marks for Other candidates
    5. No Age bar
    6. Any subject candidate can sit for the exam
    7. Good communication skill

It is not at all compulsory to go for a CET exam as we have many more entrance exams like :-

    CAT
    MAT
    XAT
    SNAP
    IBSAT.

You can go for any of this entrance exam as all of them has good colleges associated with them. CET is basically targeted for MBA colleges in Maharashtra only and the other entrance exam can help you in going to many other colleges at all India level.

Course would be the same for all of the exam so its better to go for every exam and try your luck everywhere.

    Hope it will help

    Cheers...!!!
