    Here I will provide you the Eligibility criteria for the CAT :


    <> You must have complete the Graduation with minimum 50% of marks from a recognized university

    <> There is No Limit on Age

    <> That to There is a Relaxation for the Category students about 5% of marks

    <> Final year students are also Eligible to apply for the CAT


    CAT is the Toughest Exam compared with other Entrance exams

    Through CAT you will have a Chance to get in to the Top most IIM's

    CAT is COMMON ADMISSION TEST for the management programs.Held on third Sunday of November each year.CAT is conducted by the (IIMs) INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENTS every year.



    The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.If the appearing aspirant is of the final year student than also he/she may apply for this exam.


    Pattern of CAT:



    :-It Is multiple- choice based.

    :- Comprises of three sections and these three sections span the domains of arithmetical problem solving, geometry, statistics, data interpretation, logical reasoning, puzzles, and English language skills.

    • If you interested to pursue MBA course, you can apply for the Common admission test (CAT) which is conducted by the IIM every year.
    • To be eligibile, you must have completed the graduation with having 50% marks in any of the discipline and it should be from recognised university.
    • However if you are from reserved category, then 45% marks is the minimum requirement.
    • There is no upper age limit prescribed for it.
    • The CAT will be conducted from 16th october to 11th november 2013.
    • The forms are available upto the date of 24th september 2013

    Dear,

    CAT is one of the toughest test to crack in India.It is for management courses .

    Mainly for MBA , MBA stands for master in business administration, time duration for the same course is around two years.
    MBA is post graduation course and is conducted by IIM's of India
    Every year its paper is conducted

    Some of the eligibility criteria for cat are as follows::

    >>Graduate form any recognized university

    >>Minimum marks obtained in graduation should be 50%

    >>Marks relaxation for reserved category is 45%

    >>No age limit

    >>Final year graduate students are eligible for the CAT exam

    ​COMMON ADMISSION TEST OR CAT EXAM IS EXAM CONDUCTED BY IIM'S INSTITUTE EVERY YEAR IN THE MONTH OF OCT-NOV . SO AS TO SELECT ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR MBA IN THEIR INSTITUTION . THIS EXAM IS REALLY VERY POPULAR AND ALSO CONSIDERED TO BE VERY TOUGH . TO GET ADMISSION IN IIM'S YOU NEED TO HAVE FOLLOWING CRITERIA AND THESE ARE OR RATHER APPEARING FOR CAT EXAM YOU NEED TO POSSES FOLLOWING CRITERIA :

    * * GRADUATION DEGREE IN ANY DISCIPLINE WITH 50% FROM RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY

    * * AGE MUST BE ABOVE 21 YEARS AND MORE THAN THAT , THERE IS NO SUCH AGE LIMIT FACTOR WHILE APPEARING IN THE CAT EXAM ,HENCE YOU CAN SIT FOR THE EXAM ANY AGE YOU WANT , AND CAN DO MBA COURSE ONLY WHEN YOU CRACK CAT EXAM WITH A GOOD PERCENTILE SAY ABOVE 65+ PERCENTILE AND MORE THAN THAT .

    Eligibilty to apply for the CAT exams is:
    Graduation pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks for General and OBC candidates and minimum 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates.
    Final year Graduation students can also apply

    To get calls from IIM, you have to get atleast 98 percentile marks in the CAT written tests
    After this you would be called by IIM for the next rounds that is Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

    In CAT exams questions are asked from below sections:
    Verbal Ability
    Logical Reasoning
    Quantitative Ability
    Data Interpretation

    Important Dates for CAT 2013

    Registrations: 5th Aug 2013 to 26th September 2013
    Exam dates: 16th October 2013 to 11th November 2013
    CAT result- 14th January 2014
