Re: Eligibility for CAT & MAT after doing Civil engineering?

Eligibility for CAT&MAT after doing civil engineering is that :
Not only for the candidates who does civil engineering but also for the other streams who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% in any recognized university or college are eligible and there is relaxation for the candidates that is 45%.
    • CAT is common admission test
Both are entrance test only which are required to take MBA courses.they may be2 years for MBA programmed but for the candidates who take this coaching in some universities who are under CAT exam category there will one year degree also. Both are same courses but the level of exam is tough in CAT when compared to MAT it means in MAT the level asking the questions is smaller when compared to CAT and job prospect also will be based upon the type of institution they are placed.both the exams will be having the negative marks so we have to confident while marking the questions inorder to secure good percentage in that respective exam and after writing the exam we will be having the group discussion and personal interview to attain to get good universities.
MAT is management aptitude test it is usually conducted 4 times in a year where as CAT it is conducted once in a year and therefore the application usually we get in the month of September and exam will be mostly in the month of october and the results generally will be announced in the month of january.
So for the preparation of any type competitive exams we have to cover the syllabus at proper time before going to the exam inorder to maintain the good grade in exams which is very essential for any type of candidate.
    hope the information helps you................
