    No my friend you are not eligible to apply MBA exam having back in your engineering. But if you are clearing your backlogs before starting admission procedure then you can apply these exams.

    The eligibility criteria for the CAT exam is you must have bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

    Also you must have minimum of 50% in bachelor degree for the general category candidates and relaxation of 5% marks is given to the SC/ST candidates.

    CAT Examination Pattern:
    ===================================

    This exam is designed to examine three different skills of a candidate.

    a) Quantitative skills

    b) Verbal skills and

    c) Logical and data interpretation skills.

    Hello Friend ,

    Yes , you can appear for CAT as well as GMAT exam being a backlog student it does not matter at all . The only thing that is necessary is a completion of Graduation degree in any year from recognized university , and there is also no such issue regarding age limit . so you can easily apply for upcoming CAT exam , that is registration begins from end of July . So you can check the official page of both the exam .

    CAT exam is for admission to IIM's Institute for MBA course IN India whereas GMAT exam is given for getting admission to foreign university for MBA course .

    THANK YOU !

    You can go for CAT and GMAT examination. There is no any problem to go for CAT/GMAT entrance test and after passing it you can also go for good Management schools. But in Campus Selection it may cause problem. But in admission you will not get any problem. There is no any instruction about 1 year back degree in eligibility.

    The eligibility criteria is only that you have to pass Graduation with 50% marks or above with a recognized university. You can go for MBA through CAT or GMAT entrance test without worry and after passing CAT or GMAT you have to apply for colleges or Institutes which accept your Marks.

    After applying you have to go for Group Discussions and Interview test conducted by Institutes or Universities and after passing it you can go for MBA admission in that college.

    Now you should have to think in which stream of MBA you have to opt. You can choose any MBA field like Finance, Marketing, HR but if you are an engineer then you have to choose Operations Management. This is the degree of Production management and you will get the post of Production Manager in any company. Best of luck.
