    Hello my dear dude

Dear with 46% of marks you are Eligible for the CAT examination

But You must be a Category student (SC/ST ) then Only you are eligible to apply for the CAT examination

If you are a General category student then there is No relaxation to go for the CAT examiniation

You have to Take the Overall papers in to the Consideration for Eligibility criteria

For SC/ST candidates only Relaxation for the Academic percentage about 5%

So try to see your category and Make a Decision according to that

There is No Age limit for the CAT examination and All 13 IIM's accepts the CAT score card

Thus I hope this information will be useful to you

It was pleasure to help you

    That is all

    Good luck

No you are not eligible to write the test if you are belonging to higher caste if you are of low caste then it is possible because the required eligibility for the candidates who want to pursue the CAT exam is that they should be completed graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate and the relaxation for the sc/st it is 45%.After writing the test based upon thier performance they will be called for the group discussion and personal interview and overall performance is taken and rank card is given to you and percentile is given to you.for the preparation of CAT exam generally the questions are based upon the
    • quantitative aptitude
    • english based questions
    • logical reasoning
    • data interpretation
    • problem solving
    etc will be there........
So for the candidates of any degree not only the B.Com are eligible to write the exam if their aggregate if more than 50% and so if they think that they have the talent to pursue well in the outside world in activities such as communication skills, management skills, leadershipskills, team work etc then they can write this entrance test and secure good grade to get a good university or college in the respective group they want to take.
    hope the information helps you...........
