Re: Eligibility for Aviation Management after B.A.?

Well you can definitely go for Aviation Management. Let me tell you few things about MBA first. MBA is a all inclusive education environment. That means that you will seldom find an area in graduation domain, corresponding to which an MBA domain is missing. There are even many domains that do not have proper graduation domain also(due to lack of proper infrastructure). But you will find an MBA stream in that domain too. Also MBA has no age bar. You can opt for MBA whenever you want. Also if you have year gaps in your earlier educational course also, that will never throw any impact on your MBA course.
The only two things that you need to join MBA in any MBA institute is:
1)A proper graduation done from a well reputed university. This university must be affiliated under UGC or any other proper governing body.
At the end of your 3-4 year graduation you must have got 50% or more in your graduation.
    2) You must be through a proper MBA entrance examination. Different institutes approve of different entrance
examination like CAT or MAT or OPENMAT or XAT or GPAT etc. and may hold their own MBA entrance examination. Whichever entrance examination is applicable, you must give that particular examination. If you clear that examination and the corresponding interview, then you can be eligible for the MBA program.
Some institutes even take an interview, after you clear the examination and based on your performance in your interview and examination combined, you get a chance at the MBA program. The criteria I mentioned are same for any management program.
Now the best institutes for aviation management are IIMs and Ignou(any study center in India). The difference is that for IIM you need to clear CAT. Ignou requires clearance of openmat mainly. IIM has a series of GD, PI after the examination, Ignou does not. Only one round of interview may be taken in case of Ignou. For IIM the fee is around 18-20 lakkhs. In Ignou for the 2.5 year MBA course the fee is an all together of around Rs.4,500. Ignou is both AICTE and UGC approved and has its institutions in almost all states in India. The teaching level of both institutes are very high. Now you decide.
