Re: Eligibility to appoint as a Asst. or Asso. Prof. in a MBA College Approved by AICTE?

If you want to become a Lecturer in govt. approved i.e. AICTE approved Institute then the only way is UGC-NET examination. Without this exam you can only be the professor in the private or non-AICTE approved colleges. UGC has two types of exams for this, First is UGC-JRF exam and the second is UGC-NET exam.

If your age is under 28 then you can fill the form of Ugc-Jrf examination. After passing this exam you will be permitted for the phd Programme in govt. Universities and also you can get the Lecturer post. But if you will upper than 28 then you can only eligible for the UGC-NET examination. In this examination you can only get the Lecturer post, since you are already doing phd, you if you fill the form of ugc net then you will be eligible for the Professor post in AICTE colleges.

After passing ugc net exam you can fill the form of Lecturer of any university. You have to apply for the post in any recognized university and show your grade card of ugc-net exam. After that you have to face the interview, some universities also conduct the group discussion. After the merit list of the university is released and you will get the post.
