Re: Eligibility for apply for IAS after MBA?

    Dear..

First of all let me tell you that IAS require following qualification :-

    1. Candidate must be a graduate
    2. Graduation must be done from a recognized university
    3. There is no minimum percentage Bar
    4. There is a relaxation in terms of age for candidates of SC ST and OBC
    5. The attempts are also limited and if you are from a open category then you will only get 3 attempts so use them carefully
    6. SC and ST gets Unlimited Attempts

So dear if you are qualifying these above listed qualification then you are eligible to apply for IAS exam

    IAS exam Pattern :-

Exam is conducted in 3 phases

Phase 1:- IAS Preliminary which is common for all candidates and it is generally held in the month of April or May. If you manage to clear the level one then you will be promoted to level Phase 2 which is also known as IAS Final

Phase 2 :- This exam is subject specific and questions are asked only from the subjects which you have opted for choose the subject very carefully. If you clear this exam then you will be promoted to go for the interview

Phase 3 :- This stage is interview stage where a Panel of few expert will sit and take your interview and if you clear that then you will become an IAS officer

    Hope it will assist you

    Cheers...!!!
